It was darkest hour on the planet, the perfect time to hunt. Harik had been hunting a fore-legged herd beast for nearly three miles now. He'd been hoping the stupid beast would have been bedded down hours ago. Unfortunately, the creature seemed strung with energy. Either that or it knew that Harik was following it. Either way, one of them was going to eat tonight and it wasn't going to be the herd beast.
Harik adjusted his spear across his back as well as made sure that his knives were secured before he jumped soundlessly to the next nearest branch. He'd have meat for days if made this kill. At least with that, he'd be able to return to his clan within the next week without looking overly haggard. Licking his lips, the warrior glanced through the trees, watching as his prey stepped right out beneath him.

"Okay...so do I go left or..." Poor Wendelk was completely turned around. He had made a left at a large purple tree and a right at a suspiciius shrub that had winked at him and now he didn't know what to do. He was trying to find the nearest city to call a transport from home and had scryed for the direction to go in. Stupid magic. Thiugh Wendell was an acceptable mage, he never too much cared for using Magic.
He came upon a large fiur legged beast that was out of breath and blinked. "Excuse me, do you know where thr nearest city is?"

The beast, of course, just snorted at Wendell before darting off into the trees. The sound of the creature crashing through the underbrush filled the forest for a few minutes before everything went quiet. And it was in those few minutes that Harik was trying to punch down his temper. The few calming breathes he had managed to take didn't calm him at all and so, livid, he jumped down from the tree in front of the useless, stupid mage.
"What in the hells are you doing," he snarled in his own native language, his teeth bared and his body flexed threateningly. "You just lost me my kill." Harik punctuated his words by shoving the male before aggressively stalking around him. He was considering the mage for a snack. Dammit he was hungry!

Wendell was rather alarmed and uh...shocked by the attractive male's sudden appearance. He was soob cryinf out as he was shoved to the ground. Alarmed, he threw up a protection shield against the angry, unclad hunter.

The moment the shield went up, Harik yelled out angrily, bashing his fists against the shields. "I'll kill you," he yelled in his foreign tongue. He hated strangers, especially ones who scared away all the other creatures. Not only that, Harik had no idea when the male was doing here in the first place. What if there were more and they were looking for his tribesmen? It wasn't unheard of, but Harik would put a stop to it now!

"Whoa there fellow! I'm just trying to find the city. Saty?" Wendell said, standing and with his shields intact.

"Saty?" Harik echoed before he spout off another stint of words in his tribal language. He gesticulated wildly, pointing harshly to the south. He didn't understand what else the male was saying. City had been clear though and Harik would be happy to dumb the wizard's dead body there.

"Ah, that way? Thank you! Ahmet!" Wendell hummed as he began to walk southwards.

What in the world? This was unacceptable. Harik scowled and chased after the wizard, lobbing rocks and sticks at the male's shield to try and find a weak spot.

Wendell just whistled as he walked through the forest. It was probably best to just keep the thing up until he got into the city. Which was south of here. Huh. He never would have thought!
"Thank you!" he waved back to the savage throwing things at him.

Irritated beyond all measure, Harik finally huffed and went quiet. He stomped after the male, knowing that the wizard had to drop his shield eventually. Not like Harik had anything else to do. After all, a certain bearer had scared away his dinner!

Wendell hummed quietly, his sweet voice filling the silence. "Hmmm... I'm hungry." Wendell sat on a flat rock an conjured up a huge roast chicken.

Seething, Harik kicked the force field again. "You horrible wizard!" He cried, eyeing the chicken, his stomach grumbling loudly. First the male scared away all the game and then he had the audacity to eat right in front of him. The wizard was a master of torture.

Wendell blinked. "Oh? Do you want some?" He asked. Wendell placed down his chicken abd began to chant. Soon the savage had a bird on the opposite rock, smelling delicious.

Harik's eyes got big and immediately pounced on the chicken. He tore into the soft flesh of the bird, falling silent as he packed it away. In hindsight, he probably should have checked if it was poisonous or something, but he was too hungry to care. For a long while, he just ate until there was nothing but bones to pick at and even then he sucked the marrow from the them.
Feeling much more magnanimous on a full belly, Harik eyed the wizard lazily, wondering what the male was doing out in the forest in the first place.
