Does Not Compute (Madison/Cassian)

"How should I have known what he was? He could have been some new form of alien for all I knew." Cass scowled harder, refusing to be in the wrong.

"Did you seriously just call a seventeen year old kid an alien?" Madi asked, raising an eyebrow

"Yes," Cass replied, "yes I did."

"Naveen is seventeen?" Albus interjected excitedly. "Me too! Though I'm gonna be eighteen next month," he added proudly.

Madison rolled his eyes as Naveen helped a couple of customers, regaling them with a Gullah story of Bre'er Rabbit.

Albus thought Naveen was cute. He eyed the male and then his brother. "Madi, if Cass pretends to me nice can we stay with you for today?" He elbowed his brother and just got a grunt, but thankfully no objection. It seemed that Cassian would TRY to be civil.

"I don't care, so long as he's not an asshole all day." Madi shrugged

"He will," Albus assured with am emphatic nod. "So are you guys gonna stick around here all day? What else do you do?"

Madi shrugged. "No. We'll eat and go home."

Just then Naveen looked over and grinned. "Hey Madi, brush off you clubbin dress. A couple queens just invited me to the drag show at the Pantheon."

Madi snorted. "What do I look like going to Pantheon?"

"Like my date so I don't get raped. You seen how dey was lookin at me.

"I'll be your date," Albus interjected with a happy grin on his face. He didn't know what a queen was or a Pantheon, but he did know about clubbing and he did know about protecting bearers. "Let me take you Naveen!"

"Well there ya go." Madison snorted.

Naveen actually pouted. "But Madi....you dont eva go out n stuff."

[clementine]

"Cass can be Madi's escort," Albus chimed, "then we can all go!" This, of course, got a hearty no from Cassian who was not about to go clubbing with his baby brother and some human punk.

"You don't tend to need an escort to a gay bar, kid." Madi said ith a roll of his eyes.

[clementine]

"Gay? Gay! See Cass, I told you they had a stupid word for it. Of course you need someone to watch your back, Madi! Who's to say the boys won't be all over you to?" Albus said this with a nod of his head, trying to act much older than he was.

Naveen and Madison looked at each other before laughing. As if anyojw was dumb enough to approach Madi. He was well known for being one of the hardest lays in all of the greater Charleston area.

"What," Albus cried, "what's so funny? I'm serious!"
