Alex flounced out of the room leaving them in peace.

Mizell sighed feeling calm hearing him on the other line, "My giver fell for it," he admitted softly. "The doctor nearly gave the game away, but I threatened his mate, it worked. Anyway they are going through blood tests because I told my father that it is not my baby, but that we found the real father. Everything is working, I just wanted to be sure you were safe, and eating, because got this book and it say that you need to eat well."

"Good." This time, it was Rhys to breathe the sigh of relief, unable to help a small, amused smirk, "Geez, you're starting to sound like a bearer. But yeah, I'm safe. I don't think anyone followed me here, and I'm going to force myself to eat something." The white-hair boy paused, then added, "Mizell? Everything's going to work out, right?" Sure, Alex had already assured him that things would be fine and his mate knew just as much as he did.. But he still wanted to hear the words from Mizell's own mouth. Only that was going to make him feel better.

Mizell smirked, he could not help feeling worried when he was going against his father. "Everything will work out," he told him softly. He wished he could touch his mate, not knowing why he was being so emotional, he was never this way. "I will not let him take what is mine." He sighed, "Plus I am so bored without you I need you here."

[Ephemerality]

Just hearing the words, Rhys felt unbelievably relieved. Even a tiny smile took to his lips when the other made that last comment. "Tell me about it. And I don't even want to think about how hungry I'm going to get here," He sighed. Obviously, he wasn't talking about regular food. Luckily, being on half-incubus would let him go much longer without sex before it really began to harm him.. Still, it didn't mean he wasn't going to be a cranky son-of-a-bitch after a while.

"I don't care how big I am next time I get to see you," Rhys asserted, "I'm going to be all over you. Just so you know."

Mizell smiled as he laid back in his chair, "I will try to get to see you soon. I always say I am seeking new workers when I see Alex so I shall do the same this time. In a few weeks...or is that too long?"

[Ephemerality]

"A few weeks.." Rhys repeated absently, lips falling into a small frown, "I think I can manage that. I wouldn't want you to rush it and get found out, I guess."

Mizell could almost see that frown and laid his head on his desk. "Just three..." he promised. "Maybe you could get one of your family members to come keep you company?"

[Ephemerality]

"Three weeks isn't that long. I'll live," He sighed, and nodded even though the other couldn't see it. "I guess I'll call my brother to come visit me or something. It's been a while since I've seen him, anyway."

Mizell smiled, "Good. I'll keep myself busy...and I'll call you daily..."

[Ephemerality]

"Now you're really starting to sound like a clingy bearer," Rhys teased lightly, though there was something about his tone that made it obvious how happy he was for the news. Honestly, it would be the only thing to keep him going.

Mizell smiled at his tone, "I will just get bored without you, I cannot help it. Just stay safe, both of you..."

[Ephemerality]

"I will," Rhys answered, then paused before amending his words, "We will." It felt so odd. All the drama of the situation had almost made him forget that the source of the problem was the new life growing inside him, a hand thoughtfully going to his own stomach. "I think I'll go try to eat now," He sighed, looking towards the kitchen, "Don't forget to call me."

mizell smiled, "Good. And let me talk to Alex, I promised I would." With Alex he was a different person and it showed in his voice, this was why he was acting different with his mate too.

[Ephemerality]

"Alright," Rhys stated as he got up, strolling into the kitchen to find the other bearer. When he spotted him, the white-haired male approached, only to hesitate when it was time to hand the phone over. What should he say? He silently debated his options before finally settling on an only semi-awkward farewell.

"Okay, here's Alex. I'll talk to you tomorrow," He said, then handed the phone over to the other bearer.

Alex beamed when he took the phone from Rhys, happy to talk to Mizell. "Hi....Yeah finals were great. I have As in Calculus and Biology...but a B in English, I was so close to getting an A but I missed a few questions on the final. And I know you want me to go to the University next semester, but I like being in the community college." Alex might have been only sixteen but he graduaded the semester before last and now he was taking University classes, with that and helping Mizell run the business he was kept busy.
