Lucas beamed up at Kendrick when they got back, "I like your friend Uncle Kenny," he announced. He cuddled closer happy, "He has to stay, hes my mate." He didn't fully understand what mates were, he just thought they were friends and played together.
Kendrick smiled to the child then caught Rory's eyes, "Is that so?" he asked softly.

Rory laughed and shook his head as he kissed Lucas' cheek. "You'll have someone stronger than me, kitling," he assured with another cuddle before he gently placed the child down. He caught Kendrick's eye and just shrugged, eyes twinkling.

Kendrick smiled down to Lucas as he moved closer, "Babe...your a bearer, and so is Rory so you will just have to be friends ok?" He asked.
Lucas pouted but soon nodded, "Ok...lets show Rory how to make pizza now..." he ordered.
Kendrick looked back at Rory and smiled, "Come closer so we can show you..."

Rory smiled again and fuzzed Lucas' hair. "Show me this new art my Master Pizza Maker," he teased the child, following Kendrick further into the kitchen.

Kendrick lifted Lucas up so he could wash his hands in the sink then do so himself. They moved to the counter where Lucas stepped on a step stool and started to make the dough. They talked Rory through it, Lucas taking the lead then giggling when they started to roll it out. "You have to make it big...but not thin..."

Rory followed the lead of the other two, though mostly played and teased with Lucas. "Mean mean not like this," he asked with a laugh, holding up the dough he'd been flattening and peaking through the hole in the middle. He let Lucas take care of the dough making as we went and started to grate the cheese and slice the other ingredients that were to go on top.

Lucas giggled as they made the dough happy to be working with them. Kendrick helped Rory cut the ingredients, just wanting to help.

"And into the oven," Rory announced once everything had been put together properly. With the pizza loaded with cheese and pepperoni, Rory lifted it and slid it into the oven. "And now my loves, we wait. I'd give it about twenty minutes," he added, smiling at the two. "Anything you'd like to do while we waste time?"

Lucas giggled then moved his step stool so he could set the timer. Once he jumped down he reached for Rory's hand, "You can watch tv with me..."

Rory gladly took Lucas' hand, smiling down at the kit. "Alright. What do you want to watch?" He asked, half leading the boy back into the living room, beckoning to Kendrick to come as well.

Kendrick followed with a smile watching them curious.
Lucas sat and pulled Rory next to him as he picked up the remote. "Finding Nemo..." he whispered. "Its a Earth movie...but I want to watch it...I like it."

"Alright," Rory whispered playfully back as he settled more comfortably beside Lucas. He wasn't sure exactly what Finding Nemo was or if he'd ever seen something like it before. The box had cartoon fish on it so he supposed it couldn't be that horrible.

Lucas played the movie before moving to sit on Rory's lap. When the movie started he pulled Kendrick close so he was sitting next to Rory and him.

Rory easily wrapped his arms around Lucas' waist. Pulling the boy close. He sank into the couch and tried to pay attention to the movie. Rory was surprised though when his eyelids started to droop, sending him into a swift doze. He hadn't realized how tired that last few days had made him.
When the timer for the pizza went off, Rory muttered something incoherently at Kendrick, wanting the male to get it.

Kendrick had watched the movie several times before so he was content just to watch Rory. He smiled when he fell to sleep and continued to watch him. He smirked at him once the timer rang, he was cute, soon he stood to go get the pizza and cut it.
