"I didn't do anything," Rory assured, believing he really hadn't. Kendrick had just been too shocked to bully his way in like the redhead had. "I think it'd be a good idea if you both went home and took a little rest," he soothed as he walked beside the two, his hand gentling running up and down Lucas' back.

Kendrick looked to him and nodded, "Raincheck on dinner?" he asked softly. "Or...maybe you can come to our place? I can order something in."
Lucas shook his head, "We will cook pizza Uncle Kenny..." he ordered then smiled to Rory. "You can come help."

Rory flushed and bit his lip. Should he come over after all the fuss he'd put up? He still didn't want Kendrick to think he was moving in with him but..."Alright, pizza sounds good," he replied with a smile lightly fuzzing Lucas'a hair. "I bet you like lots of cheese, right?" One visit couldn't hurt, Rory supposed, and pizza did sound good.

Lucas beamed and nodded, "I love cheese. Uncle Kenny puts five different cheeses on our pizzas..." he told him proudly. "And we put ham, and bacon, and veggies...its yummy. Will you come home with us now? We can have that for lunch and order dinner...Uncle Kenny won't mind."
Kendrick looked down at Lucas amused, he did want Rory over, but knew he had to work, "Sweetheart...Rory has things to do..."

"It's alright. How could I say no to such a cute face?" This he said to Lucas, beeping his nose playfully. "And I've already been through all the interviews today so there's nothing too much to oversee." And it was true. The bakery was nearly all set up and he had the menu written out all ready. In a few days, he'd have his new employees trained and they'd be open for business.

Lucas wiggled till Kendrick placed him on the ground. He then took Kendrick's and Rory's hands before leading them out of the place. "Thank you Rory," Lucas told him happy.
Once they got to the car, Kendrick put Lucas in the booster seat and strapped him in. He kissed his cheek before turning to Rory, "Would you ride with us? Or would you rather to just follow us home?"

Rory smiled at the sight of Kendrick and Lucas. "I can ride with you if it's not any trouble. I usually walk to work so I don't have my transport today," he explained, already sliding into the passenger seat with a huge grin on his face.

Kendrick got into the drivers seat and nodded, "That is fine. I just did not want you feeling uncomfortable...or that I was bossing you. Thought its not fair that you let Lucas boss you around..." He said then looked in the mirror to see Lucas giggling.

Rory smiled and patted Kendrick's arm kindly. "You're doing really great, Kendrick. I appreciate it. And Lucas is just cute when he bosses," he added laughing along with the little bearer in the backseat as Kendrick drove them to their home.

Kendrick smiled as he drove home and stopped in front of a mansion. "We are home," he told him softly and got out slowly. He helped Lucas out before looking to Rory, "Coming?" he asked softly then started to walk to the mansion.

"Wow," Rory gaped, looking like an idiot as he got out. "Yeah, I'm coming," he added, following after the two. He didn't know what kind of home he expected Kendrick to live in, but it was nothing like this!

When they got into the home Lucas went to Rory and took his hand. "Can I show you my room?" he asked softly.

"Of course, kitling," Rory replied, giving the boy's hand a squeeze. "I'd love to see it." Smiling, Rory allowed Lucas to show him the room, giving Kendrick a be-right-back look.

Kendrick smiled at them, glad Lucas at least got along with Rory, he didn't know what he would have done if they did not get along.
Lucas dragged him into his room with a grin, it was decorated as if it was in space. He had a adjoining playroom that held all his toys and that was done in a safari theme.

Rory allowed himself to be shown about an was properly surprised and awed at Lucas' room. He asked about some of the child's toys and what kind of animals he liked. Soon enough, Rory ambled back Kendrick's way, cuddling Lucas in his arms and purring over the boy.
