Small Beginnings...

Mu looked back, and gasped, running back to his close friend. He gently lifted the boy up hoping he was okay. Seeing the blood he whined and licked the boy's nose comfortingly, his ears pressed against his head, thankfully in a more quiet part of the playground.

[mesmu]

Jae sniffs a bit, but doesn't cry. It stings a little when Mu licks his bloody nose and he then burries his face into the other's chest, "Ow..." He sniffs again and this time coughs a bit and then spits out next to them bloody phlegm(sp?).

[squabbel]

Mu gasped at the blood, extremely worried about his friend. "Jae! Something's really wrong, I-I'm going to get the teacher, um, you stay here okay?" he told him before kissing his cheek and running as fast as he could to the nearest adult. "TEACHER TEACHER! JAE'S HURT! HE'S BLEEDING!"

[mesmu]

A teacher follows Mu back over to Jae and they quickly rush Jae to the nurse, thanking Mu for his help and leaving him behind.

Mu bit his lip worried about his best and only friend, he could actually feel tears running down his cheeks. He looked around seeing people start looking at his funny. He didn't like it, and ran away, hiding under one of the play castles.

Jae coughs up a little more red gunk before the nurse decides to call his parents. They don't pick up and in the end his older brother picks him up and takes him to urgent care. After an hour of sitting they get let in to find out that somehow the blond broke his nose and should put some ice on.

The rest of the school day was torture for Mu, just the fact that Jae wasn't there and he couldn't look over and see him smile was killing him. During reading time Janette helped ease mu's pain, by talking to him, and reminding him it would be alright, she even snuck a kiss on the cheek. At the end of school, Mu thanked Janette for all she did, and waited for his father to pick him up. The white haired man having that same stern look as always. Mu just sniffled and put his bag in the floorboard and sat in the backseat, and cried softly, his father paying no mind. He pulled up in front of the house, but didn't pull in or open the gate. He looked at Mu in his rear view mirror, "Tell Eaven that I won't be home for dinner, boss is having a meeting with some people and I have to go," he told him.

Mu just nodded and slunk out of the car. He looked back at his father, "My birthday's in a month or so, will you be home for that?" he asked.

His father paused, and looked away for a bit, "I-I'll do my best," he told him, looking at the steering wheel and rolling up the window before pulling away.

Mu, hung his head low, and sighed as he walked inside, and sat his bag on the kitchen table, ready to do homework. His bearer smiled and sat down a half of a sandwich with a small handful of chips for him to nibble on till dinner.

"So how was school?" asked the blonde bearer, gently tussling the boys hair.

Mu sat there and sniffled, "It was horrible, J-jae, he he, hurt himself badly, I don't know if he'll be alright," he said whipping snot and tears away, hiccuping.

"O-Oh my lord, what happened," asked Eaven wrapping his thin arms around the boy.

"Me, and J-Jae were p-playing, and and, he fell, then his nose began bleeding and he kept coughing up red stuff, the teachers took him to the nurse, and he didn't come back," he whimpered, looking up at his bearer. "W-Will he be alright papa?" he asked clinging to his chest and rubbing his face against it.

A gentle hand was placed on mu's hand and petted his head, "Yes mu, he'll be alright, I'm sure he's at the doctor's right now, and they'll fix him right up," he cooed nuzzling the boys head, his boys soft little ears twitching and brushing against his cheek.

"It's all my fault," murmured mu.

"No it's not mu, it was an accident, you couldn't have prevented it, no one could," said Eaven, "How about I call Jae's brother, I'm sure he won't see nothing wrong with me asking him to call me back as soon and Jae's nose if fixed, and maybe you can talk to him, that sound alright?"

Mu nodded, his ears pressed against his head.

"And maybe, just maybe, I'll take you over when he gets home, but only if you finish your homework," he teased, kissing Mu's forehead.

Mu blushed and nodded kissing his papa back on the cheek. "I love you papa," he said quietly before pulling out his homework.

"I guess your father isn't going to be home from dinner then..." asked Eaven as he sat out the meat for the days supper, a small frown on his face.

Jae is currently helping his older brother make dinner, grabbing random ingredients for the chilli.

Mu and his bearer had finished their supper a bit early, and sat together on the couch, watching tv. Even smiled softly at his child, the boy obviously still worrying about his friend. Eaven leaned down and kissed the boy's forehead, "I think I heard a car pull in in the driveway next door, I'm going to try calling Jae's brother to see if he's alright? sound good?" he asked. Mu looked up at him teary eyed and nodded, the older blonde just chuckled, "It'll be alright Mu, I know it," he told him, gently rubbing his wet cheeks.

The older male picked himself up and walked to the kitchen, grabbing the phone and calling the house next door. "Hello? Is this Matti? Thank goodness, it's me, Eaven, Mu's been worried sick, please tell me Jae's alright, Mu nearly cried his face raw," he said looking over at his son, peaking back at him over the back of the couch.

Matti sighs and replies, "Yes sir... Jae is alright. He's eating right now, but I can excuse him for a minute if you want to put Mu on the phone." He looks to his little brother whom is licking his chili instead of eating it. "If that's okay with you sir."

[squabbel]

Even smiled, "Oh thank goodness, I was really worried too, that'd be great Matti," he told him looking to mu. "He's alright babe, Matti's going to put Jae on the phone if you want to talk to him," he said holding it out for the child.

Mu instantly began crying and ran to grab the phone from his bearer, "J-Jae? Are you okay?" he sniffled wiping snot every which way.

[mesmu]

Jae frowns into the phone when he hears Mu crying, "Don't cry Mu... I'm okay. I promise."

[squabbel]

"I'm so sorry Jae, it's all my fault, I was so worried," he sobbed out, not noticing his bearing stroking his back. "There was just so much blood, I thought you weren't going to make it," he told him curled up into a little ball with his bearer holding him.

[mesmu]

Jae looks to Matti whom sighs, knowing that look before the older brother mouths: "fine".

"Its okay Mu, I mean it really," Jae says lovingly as he walks out the back door now and to their fence which he says. "And it wasn't your fault... Um, hold on." He tosses the phone over while Matti comes up to help him over. On the other side he says. "Meet me at your back door?"

[squabbel]

Mu looked up at his bearer, who just smiled and patted his back before shooing him off to the back yard. Mu hung up the phone and peeked out the back door and wasting no time running to Jae's side, holding him close, but still gently. Mu licked the other blond's face repeatedly, not caring to hide his obnoxiously loud purring. "I'm so glad you're okay," he said as he rested his chin on Jae's shoulder.
