Sparks Fly

Liam waited worried that Zee was hurt. He couldn't hear anything besides the movement and couldn't see him. He jumped slightly as the lights were turned on him then flushed at the catcall, "Oh..."

Zee grabbed the light chord above his head and yanked on it. The whole garage flooded in flourescent light and he whince at the sudden brightness.

Zee waved toward Liam. "You still wanna ride on this baby?"

Zee was propped on top of an old retro scooter with a purring electric engine. It screamed DORK.

Liam giggled walking towards him with a smile, "Kinda strange...but I want to try it..."

Zee smiled a big toothy grin and stood up tall to give Liam room sit behind him. He then patted the thickly paaded but faded seat. "Hop on Crazy."

Liam sat behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist. "This is safe right?" he asked softly.

Zee instinctively leaned back into Liam's embrace. "Don't worry. This is a scooter. Not a HOG." He chuckled and revved the electric engine. It merely whined. "See. My bike probably has more power."

He then used the remote to open the garage door and puttered out slowly onto the sidewalk. It was a little after dusk now. So it was light out but nearly dark.

Liam giggled, knowing he was trying to show off, and knew he was bluffing. When they putted out he was a bit worried since he had never been on anything like this. "What is a HOG?" he asked softly.

Zee looked over his shoulder exasperated. "You are from another planet aren't you?" He then Chuckled softly and looked back toward the sidewalk. "A HOG is a Harley Davidson nickname. It's a gigantic high powered 2 wheeled machine that is loud, mean, and sexy."

Liam looked to him, "And you didn't get one of those?" he asked softly.

Zee chuckled against Liam. He blushed deep red. "Maybe I'll rent one for us when we go up the volcano if you want to?"

Liam squeezed his hand, "Only if you want to...I was just curious..."

[chocobeast]

Zee grinned as he considered it. But just as quicklyhe had a desicion to make. They had gotten to the main street and he had no idea where Liam was staying.

"which way do I turn?"

[fearless]

Liam smiled, "Left," he told him. "Its the Brown Hotel on Taylor Street."

[chocobeast]

"Oh," He smirked. Then he hit the gas pedal and it whined loudly but still moved real slow. He couldn't help the belly laugh that followed.

Liam giggled a bit, "Is it always this slow?"
