Liam hummed as he walked through downtown Hilo taking in the sites. He came here first wanting to shop for gifts for his family back home. He loved being on Earth there was so much to see and do. He knew he would be here for a few years more, since he wanted to see everything. Now though Hawaii had his interest, he wanted to see all the attractions on all the islands. After he was done shopping he would explore the town, and the next day he would be going to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which from his guidebook seemed wonderful. Zyzzyx loved his mid-day bike ride along the toursit filled beach. There was always something to see and do there. There was always a game of volleyball with some tourists. A shuffleboard game with the rich at the retirment home. And if he were desperate, frisbee with his cousin Jojo who always sold refreshments for a price.
He only had a hour before he had to be back at the rental shop. But he could accomplish a lot in just an hour. He grinned wider as he peddled faster on a B-line to the beach.

Liam kept walking shopping for a bit then heading to his hotel to drop off his purchases. About an hour later he was at the rental shop checking to see if they could teach him how to surf, he wanted to learn.

Zee's cell chirped loudly from his pocket. He couldn't believe his dumb luck. That chirp meant only one thing. Luch was cut short for a client.
He grumbled as he stopped only feet from the beach and pulled out his cell. "By Federal Law, I get a lunch break." He grumbled instantly into the cell before the caller could say a word.

Liam looked around the shop as he waited hoping soon he would get to learn. He just wanted to set up a few classes, maybe even start today, if he had to he could put off his trip to the National Park, it could wait. He really wanted to learn to surf, he had learned how to skateboard so he hoped he could surf too.

Grumpily, Zee tossed his mountain bike to the back wall. He was sooo looking forward to enjoying his lunch on the beach. It was a perfect day too.
"Okay," he nearly growled as he tossed off his full backpack and walked in the back door. "You had better make this up to me HUGE."
He tromped loudly on the wooden floorboards but gently opened the only door between the back of the shop and the store. It was like he knew to put on his game face right there.
"Welcome to Surf's A Plenty." He announced without looking up as he closed the thin wooden door. "My name is Zyzzyx. But you can call me-"
He never finished his intro sentence. It was lost in the customer's amazing eyes.

Liam looked up at the announcement moving towards the male curious. He blushed a bit when he rendered the male speechless, he could feel the pull towards him too. "I'm Liam," he told him softly. "And um I wanted to learn how to surf...if you would be willing to teach me." He could tell the other was Zercan, he could smell it, and wondered how he came to be on Earth, hoping he had been taught a bit about mating, cause Liam was too shy to tell him just yet.

Zee had always been as proper as he could be. Never tried to the show the world his wild side. That being the side that screamed 'GOD THIS GUY IS HOT!' Male/Male love, especially here in Hawaii, was a bit of a social killer. Like he really had a social life?
Suddenly like a bolt of lightening, he realized that he had fallen silent. He blushed a little and then swallowed. "Sorry," He mumbled while he darted his eyes to anywehere but that amazing man. "The sun must have gotten to me."
He picked up a catalog off of a nearby desk and flipped it open perfectly to the page showing all the surfing beaches on the Big Island. Without even thinking, he asked, "See anything you like?"

Liam quickly looked to the book realizing the male had no idea of his roots. He bit his lip not wanting to tell the male, he was shy. "Um...well...Pohoiki Bay looks nice...as does Hakalau. So what would you suggest?"

"How much experience do you have surfing? Can you surf at all?" Zee asked carefully while taking a cautious step away from the other male. Just the close proximity him was sending weird vibrations through him.

Liam watched him then sighed, knowing how hard this would be on the male. "I've never surfed before...but I think this might be out of my price range...sorry." He started to exit knowing what he said was a lie but he did not want to confuse this male any further.

Zee suddenly started to panic. The guy was leaving? Why?
"Hey Hey Hey." He nearly shouted. "We haven't even talked price yet. Why are you leaving? Comne on back here before my boss kills me."

Liam turned back to him biting his lip now. Every bone in his body told him not to leave his mate, but he was scared, the male knew nothing of Zerca, what if he told him and he ran off? Still he took a step towards him, it was in his blood to listen to his mate, and he didn't want him in trouble. "You would really get in trouble if I left?"

"Yeah, this is my 3rd job this summer." He bashfully admitted with a blush. "Now stick around and don't worry about the cost. We can figure it out after the lessons."
He looked up hopefully. When he saw that the guy was still there, he actually felt a new level of relief wash over him. It was really weird. He had never felt like this around someone before.

Liam watched him worried then bit his lip thinking, knowing the more time he spent with this male the less likely he would be able to leave. He knew even if the male didn't know what it meant, he could still feel the bond between them. "O...ok....um which beach will we go to?"
