I felt a horrible feeling in my chest that wasn't mine. I knew in that second what I had done. I turned around, and decided that I would face whatever Fate had in store for me. I walked back calmly to the boys.
"H-hey." I murmured as I came into their view. I looked up at the boy who was my mate, and smiled. "Sorry I ran away."

I looked to him, my eyes going soft. "I-it's fine... I'm a bit scary I guess..." My hand went up absentmindedly to rub my scars. I heard Yura hissing something at Krisser quietly behind me.

"MANLINESS?! WHAT ARE YOU CALLING MANLY?! SURELY NOT HIM!" Another slap sounded, signalling Yura was already getting onto him.

I growled lowly at Yura as he tried to explain that he was trying to hit Krisser for his comment, but he had dodged it. I suddenly reached behind me, Krisser caught in my grip. I then grabbed Yura and knocked their heads together, causing them to drop to the ground with a whine.
"We're going to get along now, aren't we?" I hissed.
They nodded.
"And my mate won't be hit again, right?"
They nodded again and ran back onto the ship. Gin was staring at me in shock.
"What?" I blinked at him.
"You just... They... Man... Take a chill pill. Now. Seriously. The pills are in my bag. I'll go get you one." Gin disappeared into the ship.
I sighed. I really didn't like those things. I looked to Maaku and pulled his hand away from his cheek carefully. "Are you okay...?"

"I-it's fine..." I muttered. The kid slapping me brought back really bad memories. When I saw one of the boys return with a bag of pills, I walked calmly over to him and took the bag. "No. I won't let my mate do drugs..."

"They're not bad." Gin said softly, "Just being used for his anger problems. He's irritated easily, so he has to take the pills."
Taking the pills back, Gin walked to me and pulled out one. Placing it in my hand, he watched me carefully. I sighed through my nose and popped the pill into my mouth, swallowing it dry. I made a face at the taste. Gross...

I blinked at him. Gin grinned at him, "Wanna show us dragon freaks around? We're new to traveling planet to planet."
I went to say something but was cut off by a squeal from inside the ship. We looked to the sound just in time to see Yura running towards us. "Get that part incubus away from me!!!" He hid behind the now laughing Gin.
