((Protecting Results-- Xiomar/Vali))

"I love you... A lot too," Xiomar says as he comes to a stop, head tilting to the side. "I have to go."

[fearless]

Vali nodded then clicked off the screen. He soon laid back rubbing his stomach as he fell back to sleep.

[mesmu]

What Xiomar sees before him is confusing. Its sunny and the light sparkles off of every inch of space it can touch. He steps into the blinding light first a finger, then and arm, then half of himself, finally himself completely. On the other side of the field she sees what he came here for. A large, round flower, with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Its petals, leaves, and some of its teeth are what he needs. Not all of them of course, just enough to get Vali through his pregnancy.

But of course the plant is twice the size of him and wide awake. It turns its eyeless head to him and roars...

This is going t o take a little longer than he thought.

Vali rests as he thinks about his mate hoping he would be alright.

[mesmu]

He can't burn the damn thing, nor kill it. So how is he gonna do this? The plant roars again and Xiomar rolls his eyes, he's at a safe distance for now, or so he thought as a root comes up and throws him into a new by tree.

"Fa..UCK!"

[fearless]

Vali jumped, he felt an echo of that and it worried him.

[mesmu]

"Okay," Xio growls to himself as he pushes himself onto his feet again. "Now you're gonna get it!" No one, except his now dead mother, is allowed to kick his ass. Let alone throw it into a tree!

On his feet he braces himself, watching the ground. When he sees the slight movement he jumps up and kick-jumps from the root to closer to the plant. Which opens its opens its razor filled mouth to roar again.

"Oh shut up!" He says as he punches it in the "nose".

Get it outta the light!

Xiomar lands confused, "Huh?" And then gets thrown back again. This time into the shadows of the forest. The root goes to follow, but stops when the shadows hit it, it squeals in pain. "What the he...?"

Vali reaches for his AI debating to call Xio, but knowing somehow he was busy.

[mesmu]

"Get it into the shadows how do I do that? Its a fricken plant it can't move!" Xiomar growls and then plant growls at him, trying to grab him again. He jumps back as the plant comes stumbling forward. "Oh shit... It can walk..."

[fearless]

Vali was trying to stay calm as he waited for his mate.

[mesmu]

Xiomar keeps moving as the plant does. Every now and again taunting it, forcing it into the shadows. Forcing it to put itself into a deep, painless sleep...

[fearless]

Valis hand was soon on his AI fighting the urge to call his mate.

[mesmu]

And once Xiomar is done harvesting the needed items he begins to walk away and calls his mate's AI with a smile on his face.

[fearless]

Vali jumps when his mates face appears on the screen but smiles. "Hi..." he whispered. "Are you ok? I felt...you hurt..." He found it strange that he could feel Xios feelings before they were mated but he didn't mind.

[mesmu]

"I'm fine," The part dragonis smiles brightly. "Just finishing up here. Once I re-find my ship I'll be head on home... I miss you by the way, Vali."
