"I got arrested because I killed the men who raped and shot you. I had to do it to save you..."

[kyaarisa]

I let out a shaky breath, "So... You let your only phone call go to me instead of someone who is able to bail you?"

I shook my head slowly when he said no. After telling him I'd try to somehow get him bailed, I hung up. I called for a nurse to bring me a phonebook. All I had to do was look up that guy's number.....

I was taken back to my cell, and went to sleep.

[kyaarisa]

I managed to get ahold of the guy I was introduced to as Wyn's second in command. I explained the situation to him calmly.

(Alin's POV)

It was another boring day. I was watching television when my phone rang.

"'ello? Oh! Hi Kar. What!? Wyn got arrested! Okay, I'll go pay bail right now." I hung up the phone, hopped into my car and drove to the police station. Once I wrote a check for the bail, the cops led Wyn out.

[kyaarisa]

I sighed in my hospital bed, hoping everything was going okay down at the police station. I felt uncomfortable without knowing if things went over smoothly.

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

(Wyn again)

I followed Alin to the car, and he drove me to the hospital. I'm coming, Kar. I'm coming.

[kyaarisa]

I was laying with my eyes closed. I was tired but too bored to sleep. A soft knock came from the door. I told whoever it was to come in.

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

I opened the door, a bouquet of roses in my hand.

"Hey sweetheart. Miss me?"

[kyaarisa]

I looked to him with a smile, "You got me roses? Really?" A soft giggle escaped me. "If I didn't miss you, I wouldn't have called someone to bail you."

I looked at Alin as he walked in after Wyn. "Thank you."

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

"No problem. Anything for my little buddy." Kar growled when Alin ruffled his hair.

"Of course I got you roses. I love you."

[kyaarisa]

I looked back to Wyn with a smile once I was done growling at Alin. "Come sit by me then!" I whined playfully. It felt strangely good to act like my true bearer self. I couldn't do this at home. The memories would just repeat...

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

I went and sat by him. He seemed truly happy for once, but I saw a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"So, you know about me. But, I know nothing about you. What's your life story?"

[kyaarisa]

I looked down at my lap, "As you noticed at the club... I don't normally like being noticed as a bearer..." I whispered just loud enough for him to hear, "When I was younger, I was always called a freak or too 'girly'. The reason others called me a freak was because of my wing span... My wings are too big for my body. I don't know if you saw that in the warehouse or not. They're a good ten to fifteen feet longer in length. And, of course I hate my last name because it's a girl's name. My last name was picked randomly for me. I'm an orphan. I've lived alone for nearly all of my life. Since I learned to fly..."

I barely restrained a growl, and pulled Kar into a tight hug, trying to soothe him.

"Don't believe a word of that. You are one of the bravest people I know. You had the courage to fight your attackers, even though it was three against one. You are about as far from girly as one can get. Anyone who thinks different is an imbecile, and isn't even worth thinking about."
