It was a normal, cloudy day in the capital city of Kerplastin. I was sitting on the couch in the living room of my penthouse, watching TV. As one of the richest men in the city, I was one of the few who could afford such luxurious accommodations. It was all bought with drug money. You see, I lead the largest gang in the city, and no one dared to defy me.
After my show was over, I went to take a shower before a night on the town.

I meshed with the dancers on the floor, swaying my hips in time with the music. It was then that a man caught my eye. He had long, white hair and eyes the color of ice. He caught my eye due to the fact that he was sitting alone. I walked over to him, causing him to rise his head.
"Is this seat taken?"

I quickly looked the guy over before shaking my head. Hopefully, he's going to talk to someone else and is just asking me to be polite. I went back to sipping my drink quietly.

I sat down in the seat next to the white-haired man. I don't know why he intrigued me, but he did. I wanted to know more about him.
"So. What's your name?"

I sighed silently. Great. He's wanting to talk to me. I looked to him out of the corner of my eye, sitting up straighter and squaring my shoulders to pretend that I wasn't a bearer, "Kardama..."

I slowly relaxed, looking more towards him. How did he just automatically know? I averted my gaze back to my drink, feeling ackward.

I couldn't help the smile that twitched at my lips when I glanced to him again. He has a great smile. I soon fell into an easy conversation with him. It had to be the drinks because this is the first time I've openly spoken to someone in years. It felt good to talk...

I loved talking to Kardama. It was so easy to talk to him, and I was loving every second of it. All I hoped was that he didn't ask about my job.

I soon began to get a funny feeling in my stomach. I shouldn't drink anymore tonight. I really need to go. I didn't want to leave him for some reason however. I asked for water when the bartender asked if I would like another drink. I glanced around the crowd as I listened to the guy next to me speak.

I reached out and grabbed Kardama's hand, trying to soothe him. When I touched him, however, a tingle ran up my arm. I gasped.

My head whipped around to face him, my eyes wide. Was that-?! I pulled my hand away, shiver spiraling down my spine. I continued staring at him, wondering what he was thinking...

I quickly walked out of the bar. That was weird.

"Hey. Do you want me to drive you home? You did have quite a few drinks."
