The next few hours were busy. And when I say busy, I mean busy.
Kai left me to sort out a few things while I went back home to pack. My foster parents were still out working, so I just threw everything I had clothes wise in a suitcase as well as some books and pictures I wanted with me.
I was nearly finished when I heard the front door open. Oh. Show time.
I met my mother at the bottom of the stairs; walking into her purposefully. "Oh! Sorry."
"Were are you going?" Was her immediate response.
"Out." I deliberately left it vague. "Hey...you do know I love you, right?"
She frowned, her eyes questioning. "Did you do something wrong?"
"No, no!" I hastened to correct her. "I just want you to know that...thanks. For taking me in. I mean, there were ten other babies wanting adoption..."
A rare smile graced her lips. "We were happy to have and raise you, Narhin." Her hand took mine and squeezed. "I'm so happy you've grown into a nice young man."
I felt so guilty.

I was talking on my communicator to an old friend, when a sudden, terrible guilt came over me. It took me a second to realize that it was RIN'S feelings, not mine.
"I'm gonna call you back." I hung up on him, and slowly made my way to our meeting place. As we walked, I got a brilliant beyond brilliant idea. I immediatly called up Rin.
"Yo! I just got a brilliant beyond brilliant idea."

I laughed and kissed him quickly before I spoke. "It's near the end of my uni year. I'll say i'm off on a holiday for a month with the lads; that'll do it. Wait; it only takes a few days to get there?"
