(Alex POV)
I sat in the therapist's office, waiting for him to arrive. I had been going to sessions with Dr. Davis for about a year now, ever since I was raped, then forced to rape my little brother, Aeli. Bakeru, my mate, made me come because I was having nightmares and wouldn't let anyone touch me.
"Good morning Alex, how are you feeling today?" Dr. Davis asked when he finally entered the room.
"N-not so good. I've been having more and more nightmares lately."
"Hm. So, what are these nightmares like?"
"It's the same as always. A flashback to those 3 days I spent there." I shuddered as I remembered. Tears came to my eyes as I began to break down. The door flew open, and I jumped into the corner, eyes wide. Bakeru rushed over to me, and tried to hold me.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I scream, not realizing who it is.

It takes me a second to realize who it is, and when I do, I jump into his arms. him.
"BAKERU! I'm SOSOSOSOSO sorry! Please forgive me!" I cry into his shoulder.
"Bakeru... I don't think I can help anymore. He's beyond my understanding, and I don't know what I can do."

Nodding in understanding I smile, "Alex? Lets go home... Xanto is probably feed up with Auntie Seiya by now."

"O-okay..." I whisper, still not fully recovered from my breakdown. We catch a taxi, and Bakeru holds me the whole way home.
"Bakeru... I can't live like this anymore. We need a vacation..."

"Yeah. And Xanto..." I walk into the house, and a small toddler runs up to me. He has longish brown hair and bright blue eyes. That was my son.
"Mommy! You're home!" I squeals as he wraps his arms around my legs.
"Hey! Guess what! We're going to see Grandma!" I smile at him; a rare, genuine smile. Lately, he's been the only one able to get me to smile.
"Grandma?"
"Yeah, my mom, Lyxie."

My aunt comes in to see what's the commotion grumbling about how he just Riona to sleep. And when he hears the news he but brakes into tears. His kitten is going to be a royal bitch while Xanto is gone, and not the cute one he normally is.
But at Alex's smile it seems as if things might be okay, maybe, just maybe family will be the cure for Al.

One Spaceflight Later...
I disembarked from the cruiser, Xanto right beside me. Standing waiting for us was my mother. She had long white hair tied up in a bun and was dressed in a slimming, light blue dress. She smiled and waved at us, and Xanto pointed at her.
"Is that Grandma?"
"Yep, that's my mom."
"Why's she not like you? A guy?"

I shrug and pick up Xanto, "Why don't we go ask, huh?" Before carrying son, my bag, and his over to my mother in law. Glancing back at my mate to check if he's coming.

I smile at my mom, and wave back at her. Picking up my bag, I run past Bakeru and pull my mother into a hug.
"It's good to see you." I said, hugging her tightly.

"It's good to see you again, Bakeru. I've been fine, how about you." Bakeru said he was fine, then, she squatted in front of Xan. "And you must be Xanto. I haven't seen you since you were a little baby." She smiled at him.
