The Search for Naïvity {Flo/Jainon}

The next morning Jainon wakes up and slips out of bed without waking his lover. He moves to the kitchen to start breakfast, feeling surprisingly well, considering the past few days events. He moved about the room, fixing plenty of meats for his three carnivorous family members. 'Heh. I guess Flo's parents are family...sort of...well...'

He felt nervous referring to the two grown men as his family. What if they didn't what the tiny Jshiko as family?

None sense, The-giver-in-law's mental voice rumbles from far off. You ad Flo are mates, there are no reasons to feel unwanted in our family.

Jainon jumped slightly and accidentally dropped the knife he had in his hand, startled that the older giver had apparently read his mind. 'U-Uh, t-thank you...'

Bending down, he picked up the knife, nicking himself a tiny bit but nothing too bad. He put the knife down and just stuck his finger in his mouth as he continued to make breakfast with one hand. Once his finger stopped bleeding, he washed it off and finished up the meal, serving up plenty of food on three plates, and about half that amount on his own.

"Breakfast!" He called, hopeing they could all hear him.

Well the parents lumber in quickly, neither one to pass up free food, Flo on the other hand... He's sleeping peacefully~. If he had a sign, it would say do not disturb the sleeping dragon for it will roast you upon awaking. But he doesn't so I'm guessing Jainon can try to wake him up if he wants.

Jainon smiles a bit and goes to get Flo, not wanting him to miss breakfast or let the food get cold. Upon entering he quietly tip toes to the bed before proceeding to jump up on it, landing ontop of his bigger mate. "Flo~ Morning!! I made breakfast so come eat!!"

Flo rumbles a sound of discontentment before dragging Jainon down to his side to cuddle with him, refusing to wake.

Jainon giggled and poked Flo's cheek, smileing up at him. "Sweet, it's time to wake up. Your parents are already down in the kitchen." He pouted slightly "You don't want the food I got a cut for to get cold, now do you??"

Flo peaks open an eye and his voice is dark, though its heavy with sleep, asks one word, "Cut?"

With a slight roll of the eyes, Jainon shows his mate the small cut on his finger that has long ago stopped bleeding. "It's just a small cut."

Flo blinks, holds Jainon closer, kisses the top of his head and whispers, "Sorry. I was scared." And then stands, pulling his mate into his arms and carrying him bridal style now. "To the kitchen correct?"

Jainon giggles and kisses Flo's cheek shyly. "Yea, your parents are already there.....M-Maybe you shouldn't carry me in...? I-It's a bit embarressing in front of your parents"

Flo just smiles and then nuzzles Jainon before setting him down, "As you wish." But he takes his hand and leads him along.

Jainon smiles and links arms with Flo, nuzzling into his mate's side a bit. "Did you sleep well?"

Flo nods, "Like a hatchling."
