The Search for Naïvity {Flo/Jainon}

Golden wings are dulled by the moonlight and Flo Mynca has to light down soon. There is an open field ahead and his wings are aching, plus he's really hungry. So he drops down from the sky and lands soundly in the tall grass. Morphing into his humanoid form he pushes his pale, long blond locks behind him. Hanging on the left side of his nude body is a messenger bag.

Taking the bag off, Flo opens it. Removing from it lose fight clothes. A white shirt and dark blue jeans. He places them on before glancing around. He then sits with a huff and a small puff of smoke leaves his nostrils. Irritated that the plains are so scarce tonight that he'll have to wait until "morning" to seek out a decent meal. So he sits as still as a statue and waits for time to pass...

Jainon glanced around warily as he walked through the plains. He looked around as he went, searching the land for any signs of animals. 'It sure is oddly quiet today. I wonder where all the animals are.' Just as he finished thinking this he spotted what seemed to be a person sitting up ahead. As quickly and quietly as he could Jainon stripped off his clothing and hide it in a nearby patch of grass. He then shifted into a small mouse-like creature and scurried toward the man to try and get a better look. What he saw made his heart skip a beat. The man was by far the most attractive person Jainon had ever laid eyes upon. He stopped about a foot to the side of the man and just stared.

A soft scurrying hits Flo's ears and his hand snaps out to pick up a mouse, "Now what do we have here?" He smiles. "Aren't you a cute trinket."

'Uh oh. I wonder if he'll be mad I was watching.' Carefully Jainon crept closer to the man until he was a mere inch away from his leg. Then he went about sniffing the man, letting out an involuntary squeak when he first took in his smell. 'He smells good...'

Cocking his head to the side Flo looks down, "Now why is there another one you little ones on me, hmm?" He picks up Jainon and rubs him against his cheek. "You're so soft and pretty. But alas I'm hungry."

He opens his mouth to first eat the normal field mouse, then moves onward to Jainon.

'Wait...hungry. Oh my gosh! He's going to eat me!!' Jainon suddenly started to struggle but seeing as how tiny he currently was it didn't do much good. Suddenly, without thinking, he morphed into his humaniod self. "Wait! Don't eat me! Please, I'm not a mouse!" He cried as he struggled to get away from the still larger man.

"Ai!" Flo yipes and lets go of the mouse turned boy. Then grabs him again. "Hey, hey, hey. Calm down mousy boy."

Jainon sniffled as he began to cry out of fear. "Please, I won't taste good at all! Please don't eat me! I'll do whatever you want just spare me!!" He sobbed slighty while still trying to get away.

Holding the child against his chest, Dragon pets the boy's hair, "Shh... I'm not goin' to eat you. Why ruin something so pretty?"

Calming down a bit Jainon blushed at the man's words. "You won't eat me? Oh, well, thanks." He said awkwardly, realizing he was currently being held without clothing. "Um, I-I'm Jainon Crembia. W-what is your name?"

"A pleasure, Jainon," The dragon beams. "I am Flo."

'Flo. He sure seems nice.' Jainon leaned back a bit to get a better view of Flo's face. "It is nice to meet you, um, may I ask what you are doing out here?"

"Waiting till morning," Flo says slightly upset, but then bemusedly. "What about you darling?"

Noticing the man's slight change in mood Jainon wondered what he had said wrong. Deciding, though, to change the subject for now, he told his story. "You see, I was looking for some animals. I have a whole bunch at home and I was looking to see if any other would like to come be apart of my 'family'." He said, rather excitedly. Jainon loved his animal friends, seeing as they were the only real company he had as of lately.

"Aww that's cute," Flo smirks and nuzzles Janinon. "But you're just that in general, huh?"
