Family background: Sebastian’s family is like any other, really. Both of his parents are still alive, though they have currently been going on a tour across the galaxy. He has an older brother that periodically checks on him and a younger brother that loves to come play with him. None of the rest of the family suffers his ‘oddities’; that includes as far back as anyone can trace (which is to his great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-you get the picture-grandfather).
Appearance: When born, something was found to be horribly wrong with little Bast. He was born with a rare birth defect that caused him to be caught between what would be his cat and human form. The doctors were shocked, but there was nothing they could do to correct the poor boy’s appearance.
Sebastian was born with a panther’s tail and ears on his body. His eyes are a greenish-yellow color and if looked at closely, one can tell the pupils are very slightly narrow like at cat’s. His hands are like any other person’s, but his nails are naturally sharper and a tiny bit curved. His hair is shoulder length, black, and has a very fur-like quality to it.
He has lightly tanned skin which blends very nicely with black. He’s pretty muscled in some parts, especially his arms and legs. Scars dapple his body in places from accidents and on the few times he let his nails get too long.
Bast has no cat form nor does he have a real human form, since he already is both in a sense.
He likes to wear generally dark or black clothes because it makes him feel more like a real panther. He wears gloves a lot, but they have to have holes cut into the very tips for his nails. All his pants are also custom-made because otherwise his tail would be very uncomfortable.
When Bast was little, his parents gave him a cat bell to wear because they thought it was ‘cute’. They probably meant for it to be just when he was little, but he still wears it sometimes. He got used to the weight and sound of it when he was young, so now it acts as something that can calm him down when he’s upset.
Personality: Being as he is, Sebastian’s actions run a lot on pure instinct. As with all Zercans, there’s the ‘beast’ within to dictate how he should respond to things. Unlike most Zercans though, the beast is almost always exposed in some sort of way and he has trouble thinking things through sometimes.
He can be very proud at points especially about how he appears. He does however know when to ask for help if the occasion calls for it. He just hates when people look at him with pity.
When in a relaxed state or with someone he cares about, ‘Bastian can be quite the kitten unlike normally.
Other points of interest: Bast has a house in the middle of a forest where he can run whenever he wants. Both his ears and his running abilities are a bit stronger then a normal Zercans by a bit. He is a lot slower then when someone would be in their cat form though.
He likes to sunbathe on his lazy days, dance in the moonlight on a full moon, and one of his guiltiest pleasure is a ball of yarn and some catnip.
