I feel that something is wrong. The kid is in pain, but, what should I care. The little slut is just somebody's bitch. But still, he IS my mate. I decide to go find the boy. I run into the city, and as I get nearer to him. I feel intense distress that isn't mine. Shit!

I throw open the door and almost puke. Another man, beating my mate with a broken vase. I growl and lose control. My body shifts and I jump on the man, preparing to rip his neck out when the kid's voice calls out to me.
