Catch Your Wave (Krys/Delano)

Kyrs just sighed and threw up his hands. The guy would probably just end up 'accidentally' showing up at the beach anyway.

Oh, you bet he would. Grinning like the happy cat he was, Delano followed the two out.

Kyrs, Codie, and Delano piled into Krys' ancient Toyota truck, and the trio headed down to the beach.

[clementine]

Delano had his head stuck out the window like an idiot, taking in his surroundings.

[praiseofblood]

Codie chattered happily while Krys played some old school soul on the radio.

Finally there were at the beach. Delano jumped out of the car and helped Codie out, swinging the kit around until he laughed. "Okay, so show me how to sure." He may have been talking to Codie, but he was looking at Krys.

"Okay," Codie chirped. "Let's go to the water."

[clementine]

Delano did just that, grabbing Krys and bringing him along too.

Kyrs pulled away from the male and grabbed his boards.

[clementine]

Delano just laughed, not offering to help since Krys probably didn't want his help anyways.

Krys carried the boards to the beach while Codie played in the sand.

Delano watched with interested as Codie messed around before he looked to Krys, wondering how in the world the whole surfing thing went.

[praiseofblood]

"I suppose we best start teaching you the ropes." Kyrs sighed, placing his longboard on the sand and instructing Delano in the mount and paddle out procedures.

[clementine]

"So, the rest is just about balance?" Delano asked, hopping up and striking the surfer pose. "Right?"

"Yeah." Krys said to the male. "We'll start in the shallows--it's low tide."
