"I raped no one," Kaoru snarled. "He IS my mate and he is in this house. You show him to me now. I will not ask again."

"Koaru, Koaru!" Izo screamed from upstairs. He couldn't believe this.

"Whether he is or not, I do not know of there being an heir to the family you say you're from."

Kaoru spoked no more, merely rushed the man, his hand lengthening to claws that swiped swiftly across the older man's belly. He leapt back waiting, but he man just .lay there, staring up at him angrily. Spitting in his direction, Kaoru ran upstairs and began beating on doors. "Izo? WHERE ARE YOU?"

Izo's cat ears perked up at hearing his mate's voice. "Koaru?" he asked himself quietly before yelling and pounding on the door. "Koaru, Koaru! In here!"

Hearing his mate, Kaoru moved and jerked at the door. When it didn't move, he souted, "Get away from the door!" This done, he kicked it in.

Izo's heart leaped hearing Kaoru on the other side of the door. At the warning, he hurriedly moved away before running into his mate's arms.

Kaoru hugged him tightly and kissed him quickly before making for the door.

Izo followed quickly, cerulean eyes darting around for his father.

Escaping the house, hand in hand, Kaoru sighed as they reached a transport. "He was actually going to bid you off," he said, shaking his head and holding his mate close.

Izo snuggled closer. "It can't be helped, my father is biased to bearers because of mother."

"But that's ridiculous. You're his flesh," Kaoru said, shaking his head.

"But I'm also my bearers. Aren't you curious where he is? He's not dead," Izo said looking up and Kaoru.

Kaoru blinked. "I'm sorry. I only assumed.... Where is he?"

[phantasmalunar]

"He was in that house, in his room, I don't think I've seen him properly since I was small. I've heard he's weak and spoilt, but I don't remember it at all," Izo said. "When I was little, my eldest brother would tell me and my other brother that my bearer was a nice wonderful person, but he wasn't originally rich, he was truly my father's mate."

"Why does your father hide him away if he is so wonderful? Should we go to the authorities?" he wanted to know.
