"Ah," Izo said before then turning to Kaoru with a smile. "You know, it wasn't very nice of you to kiss and run."

Kaoru smiled, "It was unexpected, believe me, Izo. When i went downstairs I was swept away by my parents and then brought out here. The night you came to me is the night I decided I had to go and get you."

Izo blushed and looked away. "You were...going to come for me?"

"Absolutely, Izo," he said, leaning down to kiss his cheek. "Even were I not brought to my aristocratic roots, I would have tried to spirit you away."

Izo giggled. "Spirited away by a servant, what a wonderfully scandalous though!"

"Love knows no status," Kaoru said seriously.

Izo nodded. "I suppose you're right. You don't really get to choose who you fall in love with."

"No, fate chooses our mates and we choose to love them," that said, he stopped and turned to kiss his mate senseless.

Izo giggled into the kiss before totally succumbing with soft mewls.

Kaoru kissed him long and passionately. He wanted the boy to remember that this is where he belonged, in his arms.

Izo reached his arms up and wrapped them around Kaoru's neck. He didn't want to be anywhere else.

A servant came then and cleared his throat. "Forgive me, my lord. There is a gentleman here to see you." He said, speaking to Izo.

Izo's eyes widened and he looked from the servant to Kaoru. "Already? I expected my father to not arrive until the evening."

The servant shuffled his feet. "I am sorry, sir. But he is quite adament about seeing you."

[phantasmalunar]

Izo nodded. "Thank you," he said as a way of dismissing the servant. "I'll go see him myself, you can follow, but make sure he doesn't see you, alright, I rather he not run you off when you come to pick me up."
