Family background: Takumi doesn’t put much stock in familial ties. His first memory of his parents is from when he was three years old, when Papa threw a china plate at Father’s head. The plate missed and shattered on the wall, showering fragments onto the little boy. Instinctively, Takumi transformed into his dragonis’ form to protect his fragile human skin. Takumi’s favorite teddy bear was not so lucky. As the boy grew older, he was mostly left to his own devices, and now at seventeen, he pretty much does whatever he pleases. That is, so long as he doesn’t bother his parents. Takumi’s family is rather wealthy, as Father owns a rather lucrative shipping business. When Takumi turned sixteen, he bought himself a small cottage by the ocean using all of his money that he had save from allowances, and working filing papers at the shipping offices, so that he would not have to live with his parents.
Appearance: In human form, Takumi is a tall, rather slender man, though he does not appear weak. On the contrary, Takumi exudes a sense of brooding violence, as if he will lash out and hit someone at any moment. His skin is fairly light in coloring, causing the contrast with his messy deep black hair (which hangs shaggily just above his shoulders when let naturally loose) to seem even more marked. Takumi’s eyes however are his most striking feature – an unsetting piercing blue, which are rarely anything but icy. Typical attire for Takumi consists of semi-fitted dark jeans, and loose button-down shirt rolled to above the elbows. When at all possible, Takumi goes barefoot.
In his dragonis’ form, Takumi is quite large, though again rather more tall than wide. His scales are the same deep black as his hair, and his eyes are also the same. Fitting with the rest of his appearance, any flames Takumi spits out are a rather strange pale blue.
Personality: Takumi is not a very friendly person, who has a good deal of a temper when excessively bothered. Outwardly he is very cool and reserved, rarely talking to someone unless addressed, and even then, he often prefers sarcasm to real conversation. Inside however, Takumi is still hurt by the fact that neither of his parents was ever really that interested in him. He is simply shielding himself against further hurt. If forced to open up, Takumi is an extremely passionate person, and would do anything to defend those who are dear to himself.
Other points of interest: Takumi always carries two items on his person: A small, flute like instrument (which he is very talented at playing), and a small dagger with a pearl inlaid hilt, (which he is equally skilled at wielding). Those who try to separate him from either item will receive the full brunt of his anger
Mate: None...few have the guts to approach him, and Takumi certainly would not make the first move to start up a conversation
