Bleed Me Dry (Sky and Ken)

Sky tottered over to kiss his mate. "Calm down, you worry cat, everything will be fine." he said, just as his water broke. "... But we may need to get to a hospital now."

Half hour later Ken had been promptly kicked out of the delivery room for accosting the birthing box director and was currently sitting in the hallway beside Seiya trying his best not to freak out.

Seiya just patted the male's arm. "Calm down, Ken. You stress all of us out." he said, frowning as the Medibox whirred on in the other room.

Ken glared at the man. "That is my mate in there. The love of my life who is carrying my kits. There is no calming down for me until he is in my arms."

Seiya sighed, not taking any offense to the male's snappiness-- he was sure Ain was worse when he was having Beau.

In the room, there was a piercing cry being heard over the whirr of the medibox and everybody breathed in relief. However--no one came out of the room to announce the child's birth until over seven minutes later, when another cry was heard.

"Congratulations," said a tired looking nurse. "You are the proud parent of two healthy boys."

Ken didn't ask if he could go back now and all but ran into the delivery room. Tears stung his eyes as he saw his mate's pale face and he could not help but go to him and sooth his hair back. "Are you okay? Please... tell me you're okay?"

Sky looked blearily up to his mate, the drugs in his system making him feel lethargic. He smiled slightly, "The baby?" he managed, sweat sticking to his body from the labor.

Ken snapped his head up to look at the two boys two different nurses were holding out. "Stars above, Sky. We've twins," he said softly, leaning down to kiss his mate's forehead.

Sky blinked a bit in disbelief, as the nurses placed the babies in Ken's arms--as Sky was still too weak. The drugs had a bit of an adverse effect on him.

Ken looked back and forth to the boy's in his arms. One a kit, the other in perfect baby form. "I guess this means one took to being a Zercan, the other a vampire," he smiled.

Sky smiled, they were beautiful. "A bit of both of us."

Ken leaned over, if awkwardly, and kissed his mate again. "I love you, mate. I feel I don't say it enough."

"I love you too," Sky smiled as he tried to sit a bit as the drugs slowly wore off.

Ken leaned in close so that his mate could see their boys. "Are you sober enough to think of a name or two?"

"How about...Kieran and Damian?" He asked, looking at his mate. "Kieran..." he said to the little vampire baby, "Damian..." he said with a smile.
