Figuring his mate was awake, Ain's sleep-roughened voice asked, "How long do incubus stay pregnant?"

Seiya sighed. "Not know. My mother was human." he said, opening his eyes.

Ain mused, he was unaware of how this pregnancy business worked. He had never been spoken to about it and never questioned that. A gentleman didn't trifle over such things and yet... He was wondering how long it would be before his son appeared with beautiful rich black hair just like his bearer.

Seiya looked up at his mate. "Not worry. It'll be soon," he said smiling as he sat up.

Ain looked at him, framed by the evening light and looking ridiculously beautiful. He no longer thought it, he knew it. He loved this man.

Seiya ran a hand through his hair and moved to the edge of the bed to go shower.

Ain rolled over onto his stomach and just lay there. He was unused to feeling so many emotions and felt off his game.

Seiya ran the shower, looking at his mate. "Do you want to come with?" he asked.

[ode]

"No, you go ahead," he said, pleased to just lay there and collect himself.

[praiseofblood]

"Kay," Seiya said, his long hair swaying as he walked.

Ain had said the words he felt and had claimed the man as he was supposed to. But beyond that... his parents had been very cold, very circumspect. He knew he didn't want something so generic with his mate, but he wasn't sure what to expect.

Seiya stepped out of the shower, walking in to kiss his mate. "What do you want for breakfast?" he asked.

"I want... Earthling french toast with syrup and eggs," he mumbled, feeling lazy as hell and not willing to give up his bed.

"Alright." Seiya said, kissing his mate and heading into the kitchen.

Ain smiled after him. His bearer would have told his giver to get up and do it himself or to hire someone. It was nice ahving a mate who cared about the simple things you wanted.
