You Ain't Just Makin' the Crowd Roar... (Gri/Ryou)

Ryou rolled his eyes and continued on with his work as Grey walked over to the bar to watch the pair of friends argue.

"He's your mate," Tripp said, pretending to be reasonable. "So it's only natural you wouldn't notice how big his butt is."

"Bullshit! My mate- Grrr!" he growled and glared at his best friend. "I need a beer!"

Ryou shook his head. "No." he said shaking his head. 'Just come here." he said, kissing the male.

Gri kissed him back, momentarily forgetting about the beer as he cuddled into his mate. He wasn't sure what had gotten into him lately but he seemed to emotional... he would normally argue with Tripp all day without getting mad...

Later, the club was jumpin', and Tripp and Gri were busy needling Ain about the sexy new singer Grey had hired. Gri was trying to procure a drink and Ryou was steadfastly telling him no.

Gri was pouting at his mate and his denial of a measily beer. It wasn't like he had to drive or whatever. One eye on his mate, he slowly reached over and took Tripp's beer...

"No." Ryou said, taking the beer from Gri and sliding it back to Tripp.

"What the hell, Ryou?" he growled, "It's just a beer! You act like I'm pregnant or... something..." he blinked. "Holy shit! I'm not - am I?"

Ryou steadfastly cleaned some glasses, sighing.

Gri sat down abruptly, a little shocked. He supposed he should have known but... Jesus, he hadn't had a fucking clue.

Ryou looked over to his mate, "Are you...angry?" he asked.

Gri shook his head as he suddenly felt a little choked up. Sniffling a bit, he wiped at his eyes. "I-I'm not mad."

Ryou growled at the tears and slipped form behind the counter before walking up to his mate, wiping them gently. "Come with me." he said softly.

Gri followed his mate, not sure what to think.

Ryou led his mate to a dressing room. "What's wrong, love. Are you sad?" he asked.
