"I'll bite your damned cock off!" He snarled, in no mood to be placated as he cried out at another sharp pang. Finbar panted heavily, trying not to be a big wuss about the whole thing, but gods! It hurt like hell and he whimpered slightly as they moved him into the medibox.

Finbar's eyes fluttered shut, trying to focus on the feel of Aure's lips and not the enclosed space he was in.
After what seemed like hours, the doctor finally brought a squalling babe into the world, cleaning him off and handing him to Aure.

Aure paced outside the room over and over before blinking as he found himself looking at his...his son.
The breath left him as he looked at the most gorgeous pair of green eyes he'd ever seen. "My son..."he gasped.

The infant stopped screaming at the sound of his father's voice. The little thing stared seriously back, blinking curiously as he burbled quietly now.

The babe continued to coo and burble, his mother finally managing to shake off a bit of the drugs from the medibox. "Aure?' Finbar slurred.

Finbar hummed into the kiss before seeing his child for the first time. "It's a baby." He said rather stupidly, but was already reaching for the infant, gentling enfolding him into his arms. "He's so little." He cooed, nuzzling his son tenderly.

Finbar instinctively licked his little kit, offering a purr as well. "I don't know. I hadn't really thought of anything." Which was true. The whole thing was still a bit...surreal.

Laughing, Finbar shook his head. "Feisty little thing that's for sure." He commented. "Just like someone I know." He teased, laying back against the pillows to rest a little. No more fat belly, thank the gods.
