Family background: "His birthing father was a merchant for Zerca when his ship was intercepted by another. Not recognizing the other’s ship, and vice versa, the two ships invoked the rite of trade and passage – in this case the latter plus some information. The surprise at the two captain’s becoming mated was a laugh among the crew for years to come."
One of two children, Corwin grew up idolizing his older brother Ivan. For the other was years older and a crew hand by the time Corwin was able to walk.
Both Kello’s were raised on the ships by the crew and their parents. The confined space forced them to get along, becoming the best of friends with the other until ‘that fateful day’. Said day was in Corwin’s twelfth year, when the ship was attacked. Over half the crew perished and Ivan’s remains were never found, same as many others. To the day Corwin doesn’t know what happened to his idol.
Found floating with others among the shipwreck by the Dragonis’ Xhaies, there was but a brief time of grief. The shapeshifter took Corwin in as his own, and Corwin prospered under the elder’s teachings.
Appearance: An average height of 5’9”, his body structure forces disbelief. The Kello child was always considered ‘bony’ though if compared to his family it was obvious that it came from his paternal father. Yet with his short wavy hair and glasses covered dark gold eyes, he is constantly pinned as a scholar, not a star navigator.
As the Majikadai blood urges him to do so, Corwin has quite a spattering of tattoo’s. Not as many as one who lived among the forests on Jeskara their entire life, but many in themselves. Most are strings of different runes, save the firebird constellation formation that spreads across his back.
Personality: Bookish, calm, yet sometimes down right rude. Some people would say that he has split personalities, one for his ship, and the other for the world to view.
The ship personality is something that was formed under his mentor’s tuition, a demanding presence that was made for navigating the stars while ruling the ship. The captain’s word is the only word, as is said, and he personifies it.

Corwin has no cat form, but is known to have a ‘half way’ point of sprouting a tail and his joints changing when in the most extreme emotional times.
Technically Corwin is ¼ in every type of his blood, because his paternal father was half and half of two predominant species on his home planet.
His great-grandfather was banished from Jeskara for ‘Alliance with Traitors to the Crown and attempted assassination.’ It is something that was both true and untrue given all circumstances surrounding the times.
