Gavi searched like mad while Adi sat with his head in his hands, he knew what was about to happen. He could feel his heart deflating the closer his mate - HIS MATE?
"Gavi!" he snapped his head up and yelled. "He is my MATE!"
Gavi smiled up at him, pleased for him but unsure what to say. Sorry just didn't sound like it would cut it.

Phoenix couldn't do it, it hurt too much. He snuck out of the window and ran to Adi's his heart beating faster the closer he got to him. He was wearing bright make up and glitter as well as very reviling clothing. He pounded on the door once he got there, shaking from fear and the cold.

It was almost as if Adi could feel him there. Running to the door, he jerked it open and pulled the boy into his arms and holding him tightly. "Thank the Stars," he murmured. "I could not have bore it had you..." Pulling away, he stared deeply into the boy's eyes. He memorized a face that had been in his heart and dreams since he was a mere kit. "You are my mate, Phoenix, you are my other half."
He hoped the words didn't frighten the boy, but he just had to say them so the man knew how he felt.

Phoenix blushed a bit at his words. "Are you sure?" he asked softly. "I've never felt this way before...Hes going to kill me."

"I am positive, you were born to be with me," he framed Phoenix's face in his hands and kissed him for the first time, softly. One of those hands then slid and slipped in the younger man's and as that jolt nearly laid him low, he knew he was not mistaken. "No one will ever hurt you again," he swore.

Pheonix blushed and leaned into him once he took his hand. The shock felt nice, he liked the connection. "I couldn't do it. It hurt just thinking about it you know?"

"I know, I could feel you making your decision," he tapped his chest, "Here. come, i want to introduce you to my brother. Gavi is a Justice-miner, he will see to it that your 'owner'," he spat the word out, "Has no rights. Slavery, Phoenix, is illegal in this galaxy."

Phoenix looked to him shocked, "I want my friends freed too," he whispered. "He owns everyone at that club..." He walked with him then curled into him once they got to his brother. He was shy for once, afraid his mates family would not like him.

Gavi eyed the young man as Adi and Phoenix approached - he really was young - but held no grudges for judgement for one with such a hard life. Rising, he gave a short bow in greeting. "Nice to meet you, Phoenix, I assume?"
Adi nodded and hugged his mate to him, "Phoenix this is Gavi, my brother. Gavi, what can we do about the other boy's at this club?"
"I'll need a few witnesses to his slavery to bring him down. Phoenix makes one, I'll need just one more," he answered, "If we go the court route that is, which is probably best. Still, I would advise Phoenix wait here while I call my mate," he winked at Phoenix, "Who just happens to be a Scrijjx City Investagor. He'll take your statement and I'll begin to court process first thing tomorrow. Oh, and if you can get someone else down here, we'll take his too. Two is better than one as they always say."

Phoenix smiled to Gavi, not nervous now. He tugged Adi close not wanting to be apart from him anymore. "I can get Derrick to send someone over. I'm just not sure if anyone else is going to agree. Everyone is scared of him, thats why no one has turned him in."

"What about this Derrick person?" he asked curiously, loving the way the smaller male clung to him. "He seems rather head strong, perhaps he would assist you? Either way, whether someone comes or not, that deadbeat is going down." With the look in his eye, one didn't have to wonder what it was that he meant.

Phoenix smiled and looked up to him. "Well if he could stay here tonight then yeah. I don't want him going back after, they might find out." He molded to his mates side liking the feel of him and even as he curled close to him it was obvious he was worried.

Phoenix grinned happy and couldn't help but kiss him. "Thanks," he whispered then pulled away. "Wheres the phone?"

Adi led him back to the video room and this time joined his mate, wanting to make sure that no one from the club persuaded him to come back. Stopping Phoenix before he made the call, he said, "I meant what I said, what is mind is yours and that includes this home."
