Adi waited patiently and even went so far as to go in the kitchen and perpare some hot choco while awaiting the boy. Coming back to the sitting toom just outside the video room, he placed the two cups upon the table.

Phoenix soon came out smiling wide. He looked to him once he walked out, "Oh thanks. And he wants to meet you tomorrow."

"You're most welcome. And I would be more than willing to meet your brother, if it is your wish, Phoenix," he said with a soft smile. He didn't linger however and quickly finished his hot choco. "I will see you tomorrow morning. Oh, and just to asure you are not frightened, the housekeeper come around every morning to serve breakfast and stays until dinner is over. But don't worry, you'll get used to him quickly enough."

Phoenix looked to him shocked, "Are you really rich or something?" he asked curious. The club made lots of money and didn't even have a housekeeper.

"It's just been me for thirty-six years, Phoenix," he said softly, "I've had ample time to collect my fortune."

"Oh," he told him softly. "Then why don't you go find one of those mate things people on this planet talk about?"

Adi shrugged, "I've tried but mate's are pre-destined. Two people that are meant to be together, they find one another and know they are mates." It's odd how he had a little hitch in his heart when he stared at the boy while speaking of it.

Phenoix felt a slight tug but didn't know what it meant. "Oh ok... I'm sorry. You seem like a nice person I wish you would find yours...."

"You too," he said with a smile and led the man to the guest room. "Have a nice night, perhaps I'll fix you breakfast in the morning," he said the last with a wink before turning to his own room.

Phoenix was gone the next morning, he had to head to work early. He wrote a note saying thank you for the date and that he would drop the charges. He also asked him not to come the next day. That night he was supposed to be with the owner, and for some reason he felt like he was betraying Adi if he went with another man.

Adi frowned at the note, not sure what to think of the curt note. Well, it seemed curt anyway. Had he curt the boy's feelings or something? He racked hi brain trying to figure out what he had done wrong but didn't see anything. In the end all he could do was sit down in a nearby chair, clenching the note as his heart began to ache.
There was just something about the boy and he wanted him near him some kind of bad. But he was no stalker and he would respect the boys wishes.... he just wished it didn't feel like he was dying every second he was away from the kid.

Phoenix thought of him the whole time he was dressed, and his heart hurt as well. He didn't know why he wanted this man, this stranger. He made Derrik call him, using just the phone, not wanting Adi to see his getup. He leaned back in his chair as e called, just waiting to hear his voice.

Adi walked slowly to the video phone, almost hoping whoever it was would hang up before he got to it but he just wasn't that lucky. Flipping on the screen, he answered, "You've reached Adi Adian."

"Its Phoenix," he whispered then touched the screen. "I'm sorry I left so quickly. I had to get to work. I...have an appointment today...that's why I do not want you coming tonight. Do you forgive me?"

Adi's heart immediately began to pound at the boy's voice. "Phoenix? Did I do somethng wrong yesterday? Is that why you left?" he knew he sounded pathetic asking the question but he couldn't help it. Then the man's words broke in and he remembered the man's line of business. "What sort of appointment?"
