"I'm young." Artemis quipped, laying his head against Gent's chest. "You know the skin around my wings is a no zone." He pouted.

"Or a very big yes zone," Gent tried his hand at joking. Seeing a trnasport carriage in the distance, he sighed. "Come, sweetheart, and be tame. The housekeeper is here."

Artemis laughed at the joke, but his smile soon faded into something rather grim. "I won't kill him if that's what you mean." He sniffed, the lightness of his past orgasm being overridden by irritation.

Gent was nearly given to a smile at that sullen tone but didn't and instead went to the door. He felt a little less embarrassed by his face, knowing that the accident would be corrected in a few days. So when the knock came, he qas quick to pull open the door.

A boy around Artemis' age stood in the doorway. He was utterly adorable with his fluffy auburn hair pulled back into a short tail and his gray eyes sparkling. Artemis instantly hated him of course. The boy look far too amiable and Artemis didn't like it one bit!
"Hello." The new housekeeper smiled, giving no indication that Gent's face bothered him. "My name is Pierce and I'm your new cleaning person." Another dazzling smile. Artemis wanted to puke.

Gent nodded and allowed him in. "Darling, would you like to show the new housekeeper where everything is?"

"No I would not." Artemis huffed, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched as Pierce glided into the room.
"It's alright." Peirce smiled in that way again. "I'm sure I can find my way around. If you could just point me in the direction of my room?" The housekeeper was trying not to frown at the rude face Artemis had just made at him.

Gent frowned at his mate. The housekeeper seemed like a nice enough fellow. "Certainly, follow me." After showing the man to his room, he came back down and scowled at his mate. "How would you have acted as a new housekeeper were your employer to be so rude. Wouldn't that bother you if someone acted the way you just did?"

Artemis refused to be moved on the topic and crossed his arms, scowling right back. "I don't care." He said to everything Gent said. "I don't like him." It seemed he was back to being irritable about the whole business.

"Why- you know what? Nevermind." He threw his hands up in the air, trying his best to be an adult and not throw a temper tantrum.

"Oh my gawd, THANK YOU." Artemis gasped, hugging Gent around the middle before flouncing off into the kitchen. He was going to make a mess. Maybe.

Gent stared at him, considering taking one of the sizable pillows from a nearby loung and throwing it at the man. He didn't, but that didn't mean he didn't want to.

Artemis couldn't help that he was a bitch. He just couldn't. That and he was worried about the new dainty housekeeper stealing his mate. Stupid, of course. But Pierce seemed perfect for Gent and well the male got his face done...well, Artemis didn't want to think about that.

Gent didn't know what to make of the emotions crowding in one him that were obviously not his own. Sitting in his library, he stared at nothing and tried to focus on them and see what his mate was thinking.

Was he feeling threatened? Of course he was. As Artemis bit into a peanut butter sandwich (no jelly), he wondered if Gent really would get rid of him. It was a thought the fae didn't want to think of. Sure, the Zercan said he loved him, now, but what happened when he was 150% handsome again? The bearers would be falling at his feet of course. That's how it always was.
Sighing, the youth flitted into the garden with his food, not having messed up the kitchen. He had nothing to do now that the housekeeper was here. Damn.
