"Fuck you." Artemis snapped in sudden irritation, going back to his pizza.

Gent paused, frowning, "I realize those are hormones, but would you kindly not use that word. It's quite crude, Artemis. Surely you can come up with someting less offensive."

Artemis scowled at Gent. Great, now he couldn't say what he wanted! Irritated beyond all reason now, the fairy picked up his plate and glass and stalked out the back door into the garden. He made sure to slam said door rather loudly.

Gent rolled his eyes and left the room and his pizza sitting on the counter. He never could eat when he was upset and he was because his mate was. He just didn't get the man and right when he thought maybe he did a little, Artemis went on on pregnancy hormones and left Gent even more confused than before.

Artemis left his plate half way out into the garden, going further in and crawling beneath some of the rose bushes fora nap. Stupid Gent being stupid. The male was so bossing! Artemis could say whatever he damn well liked!

Gent just shook his head at the man. He was displeased and mildly hurt that the fae would act such a way when he only just found out the good news. Times like this, he wondered if the stars had made a mistake, but immediately scolded himself. Artemis was hormonal and new to mating...

Hell yeah he was new to mating. That and Artemis was still rather young and had some growing up to do despite being with child. And what would happen if Gent got his face back? Would he leave despite the mate business? The fairy started to cry at the thought.

Gent just wasn't the sort to do such a thing. Truth be told, he was so used to his scarred appearance, he wondered if he would fit in to the world any longer with a whole one. Would Artemis still love him if he decided to remain the way he was?

Artemis already though that Gent was beyond handsome. Not like the Zercan had ever believed him anyways.

Gent wished hsi mate would stop being such an ass and come to him... He wanted to ask him what he thought. After all, this wasn't just a decision on his part. Artemis would have to see him for the rest of their lives.

Artemis refused to relent. Why did he always have to be the one to give in? In the end, the fairy did though and trudged back into the house, twigs and leaves in his hair as he went to find Gent.

Gent's head snapped up when he heard his mate come up the stairs, he immediately stood and went to embrace him. "I am sorry, yet again. I will get better at this mate thing. I promise."

"Don't be sorry." Came the teen's muffled voice as he desperately returned the hug. "Cause I'm sorry."

"No, we're both slighty on edge right now, baby," Gent said, running his fingers thorugh his mate's hair. "We just need to... calm down and talk. No getting mad and storming out - and that includes me - just... talking..."

"Kay." Artemis squeaked, nuzzling against Gent's hand. "What do you want to talk about?"
