Artemis felt safe bundled in Gent's arms. Not to mention comfortable. The teen was practically purring against the Zercan for the rest of the night. Come morning, Artemis' fever had thankfully broke and the teen woke with a yawn.
'Er...Gent?" He asked when he realized who he was sitting on. What the hell?

Gent cracked an eye open slowly and sighed. "Don't blame me, you wouldn't let go of my damned neck."

Artemis blinked and in confusion and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "How'd I get here?" The teen asked, finally letting go of Gent.

"I don't know, you walked I guess," he felt awkward explaining the situation. "I was sitting in here reading one minute and the next you were just plopping down on top of me."

Artemis seemed to think about this for a moment. "I don't remember." He said finally. "But I do feel better." He announced. His voice was only slightly scratchy and his head was finally clear. That was one thing about fairies. They bounced back fast.

"That remedy helped then, I'm glad," he said, standing. "I'll be in my room, ring me when my breakfast is ready."

Artemis clung to Gent. "Oh, don't be such a stick in the mud. Come with me." The teen begged, trying to tug the Zercan with him.

Gent sighed but gave in easily. This kid was tying him in knots yet the only time he felt even remotely well was in the boy's presence. He was screwed either way but he was going to have to learnt o deal with it.

Happy as a clam, Artemis led Gent downstairs and made him sit at the small kitchen table. "Okay." The fae exclaimed, rolling back his sleeves. "What do you want for breakfast, Gent?"

Gent didn't hesitate. "Pancooks." He hadn't had those for years, since his parents died and wasn't about to turn down a chance to have them once more because he was feeling like an ass.

Artemis laughed. "Alright. Do you want fruit or anything in them?" He asked as he bustled around the kitchen and grabbing ingredients as the stove warmed up.

Gent's face reddened a bit at the childish answer that erupted from his throat, "Choco."

"Choco it is then." Artemis replied as he turned to smile at Gent, not missing a beat. Humming to himself, the fae went about cooking and soon had a pile of pancooks dotted with chips of choco. "And here we are." The teen beamed, plopped the huge plate down in front of Gent as he took the seat across the male.

Gent already had his fork ready and devoured the pancakes immediately. "Perhaps it is your food that makes you so attractive," he said afterward. "For that was wonderful"

The teen burst out laughing. "Well, I'm glad there's at least something about me you like" Artemis teased, removing the now empty plate. "I'm happy you enjoyed it." He smiled.
