The Shodan's Medical Compound was huge! Made up of a handful of buildings, Misha was amazing that none of the other scientists got lost as they buzzed around doing in important work. Misha realized he was gawking and ran to catch up with the old male who was taking him to the dorms.
Misha was nervous and excited all at the same time. He missed his job back on Sensaphoria, but couldn't help but want to be somewhere new.
Clutching his suitcase tightly, Misha followed his guide straight into the dorm building. "Ah, Raddish." The old male greeted a very cold and scary looking scientist. "This is your new recruit, Misha Fedot. Can you get him set up in his room?" Without waiting for a response the old man left, leaving Misha standing there rather awkwardly.

Raddish looked at the new male without interest before turning. "Follow." he said, moving towards the unoccupied dorm.
Raddish moved with a sureness that most people didn't have. His black and gold hair was tied back in a neat pony tail and his broad form seemed to be made for a lab coat. He opened the door to the empty dorm, "Here is where you will sleep." he said, turning, towards the new male. "You can get a key from the main office," he said, looking at the man.

Blinking, Misha trailed after the male, not seeming to be too fazed by Raddish's upruptness. As he followed, Misha keenling took in the sights the dorm had to offer, logging the information away so he wouldn't get lost later.
"Thank you." He smiled handsomely at Raddish as he peered into the room, tentatively moving inside. "Could you tell me where the main office is?" Misha asked, dumping his suitcase on the bed to unpack later.

Raddish looked at the male's smile, unfazed. "Go out of this building, down the main hall, and go three buildings to your right." he said, "Excuse me. " Radish said, turning on his heel and making his way to his station like he was supposed to be doing.

"But wait, I" Misha trailed off, Raddish already disappearing around the corner, "don't want to get lost." He finished, talking to thin air. "What a weird guy." Misha murmured to himself, not in an unkind way, but more of a curious one. He'd think about it later though as he headed out, counting the buildings as he went.
Two wrong turns and making friends with three other people had Misha finally standing in front of the main building. With a sigh of relief, he entered through the sliding double doors.

Raddish had already returned to work, sighing as he eyed the chromosomes he was studying. They weren't reproducing fast enough to be cancerous, yet the disease was still debilitating. They still didn't know what caused Gr-x 9, but they needed to find a cure--soon.

After getting his key, Misha was being given another tour, this time by the head of the department, Lex. "And this," the redhead explained as they entered a building with a very serious air, "is where you will be working come tomorrow. Just report in with Luis at the front desk there." Lex continued to go on and explain that they were currently on the cusp of a breathrough, hopefully, for the new virus, Gr-x 9.
"I don't suppose you've met Raddish Akahai yet? The tall...er, stony one?"
"Oh, yes, I have." Misha smiled politely. "He showed me to my dorm form and gave me the directions to the main office." He chirped.

Raddish was currently murmuring to himself, working out the biometrics of what he was observing. His hair had been freed from its stiff pony tail, and he ran his claws through it.
Lex showed him around the building, before he showed Misha the study room through the observation window, where Raddish was currently hunched over. He was biting his lip, writing down something rapidly before he flicked his hair away and went back to the microscopes.

Misha peered curiously through the observation window. He thought that Raddish looked so much for handsome while he worked. At least the male seemed passionate about doing something. Misha chewed his lower lip as his keen eyes took in everything the male was doing.
"He's missed a sequence." Misha murmured to himself, pressing closer to the glass as if to infuse the knowledge into Raddish.

Lex looked over to the young scientist in surprise. "How do you know?" he asked, before he looked back and saw Radish's eyes light up and shift to a gold-ish color before he back-tracked and found the gap, filling it in. Gods, it made much more sense now. He almost smiled, really, he did.
"Oh, I guess you were right." he said, looking over to Misha. "Sensaforia sent us their best, didn't they?" he asked.

Misha smiled when Raddish almost did before turning to look at Lex, flushing slightly. "Oh, well...yes, I suppose." He chuckled a little awkwardly. "This is just a wonderful opportunity for any sceintist and I'm glad to have been included in this project." Misha didn't like blowing his own horn, but he could stand with the best of them...even if some people didn't think so.
"Will I be working with Raddish?" He asked curiously Lex, turning back to look at the Zercan

Lex rose a brow. "You will be working on Dr. Akahai's team, yes. " Lex replied, looking at the male with a raised brow. "Is there any particular reason you wish to work with him?" he asked knowingly, before his eyes slid over to the handsome ice block currently scowling at the paper.

Misha laughed, sounding delighted. "Well, other than him being devastatingly handsome," he started, winking at Lex, "he seems so smart. I want to learn as much as I can from him." The young scientist said sincerely, still watching Raddish fixedly.

Lex nodded, chuckling a bit. "He is rather...easy on the eyes. All of the Akahais are, as a matter of fact. Dr. Akahai has been with us for nine years now, since he was just graduating upper Academy at seventeen." he said, "He's possibly one of Zerca's most valuable scientific minds."

"I had heard he'd graduated at the top of his class at seventeen, but didn't know if it was true." Misha gasped, sounding thoroughly impressed. "And there's more than one Akahai?" He laughed, glancing at Lex teasingly. "Oh, but don't tell me. The only catch is that they're all mated."
