Jedick saw that Dan was frightened by his sisters pulling, and didn't like it one bit.
"Eillah let go of him he doesn't like it." Jedick said embracing the boy.

Tears collected at the corners of Dan's eyes as he cuddled into Jedick's embrace. "Girls are scary."

Eillah felt bad. "I'm sorry, i really didn't mean-"
Jedick interupted her in mid sentence. "Yeah you right, girls are scarey, but she didn't mean to scare you. What she did was just something weird girls do with their friends." He rubbed the boy's back trying to sooth him.
Eillah went to the passenger side of the car and got in the front seat.
Rick watched the sceen infront of him and just shook his head. "I don't even wonna know." He said getting into the trivers seat, starting the engine.

Dan got into the care as well, but tried to stick himself as close to Jedick as possible. Somehow, he felt more safer with him in this unfamiliar planet.

Jedick sat in the back of the car with Dan close to him the whole car ride.
when they arrived at the Mexican restaurant everyone got out and went inside. They were greeted by Carlos their usual waiter who lead them to their seats. Rick and Eillah sat on one side of the table, Jedick and Dan on the other.
"You want the usual Super nachos beef with everything on the side and I'm going to guess three Shirley temples and white wine. Am i right." Carlos said in his mexican accent.
"That is correct." Rick replied as the appetizer of chips, spicy dip and bean dip where put on the table.
"Okay then I'll be back with the drinks."
Rick turned his head to look at Dan. "So what happened for you to have to stay with us." he said politely with a smile on his face.

"What were you doing to get lost?" Rick asked eye brows raised.
"Papa Rick leave him alone." Jedick said turning to look at Dan. "You don't have to answer him if you don't want to."
The waiter came back setting the drinks carefully infront of everyone and set strws by them and quickly walked away.

"N-no, it's okay. I don't really know how I got lost. It happens sometimes, but usually I'm found or get home sometime," Dan said and stuck the straw in his drink sipping. "Hey, this is good."

"Yeah the drink is definitely awesome, thats why we get it every time." He smiled at Dan.
Rick was really curious. "How do you usually get back home?"
Eillah rolled her eyes at her Papa Rick. "you are so nosy." she whispered under her breath.
Carlos came to the table with what they ordered. "Be very careful the plates are hot." He set the two plates of chips covered in beef and melted cheese in front of them, sour creme and tomatoes on the side. then he put individual plates to put the things on in front of each person.

"Oh, I'm not sure, it changes every time," Dan said. "Oh, this looks good too," he said reaching out for some food and sticking it into his mouth before spitting it back out, tongue sticking out. "Ow, I burn ma tonu!"

"Wow you must get lost a lot." Rick muttered, getting ready to pile food onto his plate.
"Dan careful the food is.......hot" Jedick tried to tell the boy as he saw him put the food in his mouth before the boy said it burned his tongue. "Umm... Eillah hand me the ketch up." Eillah grabbed the bottle of convenient ketchup next to her and handed it to him.
"Thanks. Okay Dan i want you to hold out your tongue, the coolness of the ketchup should help the burn a little bit and then you can drink some of the Surly temple, Okay?" Jedick said facing the boy, the cap on the ketchup flipped open and ready to squirt.

"Alwight," Dan said eyeing the ketchup unsuredly before leaning toward Jedick, small mouth opened slightly with his tongue sticking out.

When Dan stuck out his tongue all Jedick could think about was pulling that tongue into is mouth, lips toughing, and tasting every inch of the boys mouth.
"Jedick are you okay? Are you still there?" Eillah said waving her hand in is face. Jedick snapped out of it and shook his head.
"Sorry just spaced out." He said. He put one hand on Dan's chin to tilt it a little bit and squirted a little of the ketchup onto Dan's tongue. "There you go. Is it better?"

Jedick laughed shaking his head at the boy with a smile on his face. He took his fork and scooped some of the Nochos onto his plate along wi th some sour cream.
"So how do you plan on getting home this time?" Rick asked.
