My Beautiful Beast [Angelo/Tarin]

Angelo gasped, covering his mouth as he looked at the blood soaked male. "Will...will he be alright?" he asked with worry.

The servant nodded, "Yes. Let me fix him up then I will bring you both dinner. He should wake up soon." She bandaged him up gently before looking to Angelo, "Take care of him, he trusts you..."

Angelo nodded, already making his way to the bed to peer at the beautiful, battered man. What kind of affliction was this--to cause him to hurt so?

Tarin soon opened his eyes and when he saw Angelo his face brightened in a smile. He reached out for him, wincing slightly at the movement, "Would you sit with me?"

"Don't move around so much," Angelo chided softly as he sat next to the male. "You'll open your injuries." he frowned in worry

Tarin nodded slightly then closed his eyes, "Sorry...I just feel better with you near..."

"Then...I'll stay." Angelo said, biting his lip. "Why...does it always hurt you this way?" he asked, looking at Tarin.

Tarin nodded, "Its...been hurting worse lately..." he admitted softly. "Its my curse..."

"What...what does the curse do to you? Why does it hurt you so?" he asked, looking at the male with concern.

Tarin opened his eyes slowly, "Its punishing me for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and saying somethings I never should have said."

"Will you die? How can you break it?" he asked, looking at the male.

[fearless]

Tarin reached to trace his face, "I am not allowed to tell you that," he whispered ignoring the pain in his arm. "I am sorry...I will not die, that is part of the curse."

"But you're suffering." Angelo said, looking a bit pained himself. "It's not right." He said with a frown.

Tarin nodded, "Yes...I know...but I will be fine sometime." He touched his hair sighing, "Are you hungry?"

Angelo shook his head, he was still quite upset. It just wasn't fair for Tarin to suffer like this. Nothing he could've said would warrent a torture like this...
