Ninya's head snapped up, eyes wide. "But..." He didn't finish his sentence, shoulders slumping. Of course he was going to end up in jail. Azra was a liar. He'd said Ninya could go home. With a heavy sigh, Ninya went out to his parents.
"Hi." He whispered, standing before his parents.

In fact, Azra had bended the rules--alot. The law stated that any person arrested for murder who had a confession or substancial evidence was to be sent to prison to await a fair trial.
Isis stood and hugged Ninya tight to him. "Look at you," Isis frowned looking him over. "You're pale as a ghost. Let's get you home and get some decent food in you--and then straight to bed." he said, looking over his baby.
"I'm afraid not, Mr. Akahai. Your son will have to stay the night at Precinct and we will check out his story and look for the other two culprits. His bail is set for two thousand credits in the morning, and you can pick him up from holding." Azra said, hands behind his back professionally.

Ninya all but collapsed into his mother's arms, trembling horribly. "Momma...I'm sorry." He murmured, rubbing his face in his bearer's sweet smelling hair. Maddox watched this but didn't move to embrace his son as he snorted at Azra's words.
"Can't we just pay the bail now?" The demon asked. "It's not like he's going anywhere." Maddy didn't want to admit it, but seeing Ninya so frightened ripped at his gut.

"No, the bail wont be registered until morning--or else it'll be considered a donation." Azra said.
Isis just cooed and tried to calm the boy. "It'll be alright baby, it's alright." he murmured to his beautiful boy.

"I don't bribe." Maddox gruffed, crossing his thick arms across his chest. "You're gonna have to let him go Isis." He said to his mate gently as he watched Isis try and soothe the trembling Ninya. Finally the boy pulled back and Maddy noticed the thinness and dark circles under his son's eyes.
"It'll be fine Ninya." The demon assured his son, taking the boy by his shoulders and steering him in front of Azra.

Azra cuffed the male, looking at Isis with a halting stare as he got ready to protest. "I am doing you all a favor. He should be in prison awaiting trail, which could be anywhere from six months to a year--I'm letting him go for now, but if he's caught again, I won't bend the rules." Azra said, as he turned and began leading Ninya away.
"You may come to pick him up any time after eight tomorrow morning." he called over his shoulder.

Ninya shuddered when the cold metal of the cuffs touched his skin. He didn't say anything, merely looking at his parents with big, apologetic eyes. He had meant to kill that man, but that didn't mean he didn't regret it.
The last thing he saw before he let the hospital was Maddox giving a half hearted wave before turning to comfort Isis. The new sight of the police transport made Ninya suddenly halt without realizing it and jerked back so that his back was pressed to Azra's chest. A confined space was a no at the moment.

Azra reached out a hand to brace the boy, unconsciously and looked down at him. "Would you rather walk? It's thirty-two blocks from here." he said looking at the male, while still nudging him towards the transport.

Ninya refused to be nudged and nodded his head emphatically. He'd rather walk. Hell, it could have been two planets away and he would have chosen to walk. Every time he so much as glanced at the transport images of three days ago flashed in his mind's eye.

Azra sighed. "Suit yourself," he said and began walking, still holding fast to the male's arms.

Ninya scowled but didn't jerk his arm away. The bastard. Did it look like he was capable of running anywhere? For the most part, Ninya just ignored Azra, simply enjoying the morning air. It'd been a while since he was up early enough to see it. An almost happy sigh escaped the male. He was free...for the moment.

The walk took some time, but once they had returned to precinct, Azra had some officer escort the male to his cell. He then went to go work on the report and check in on if the other Zercans had been found.

Surprisingly, Ninya didn't make a fuss as the unknown officer practically shoved him into the holding cell with a look of disdain. Ninya scowled back and took in his dismay surroundings. There were benches scattered about, no beds, and a handful of male's scattered about who were probably waiting for bail just like him.

Azra had worked into the night on the hooker boy's case, with nothing to show for it. These other two Zercans had apparently vanished, although some witnesses claimed that they frequented the red light district. He only got one vague name from a sleezy witness: Sloan.

Ninya huddled on a bench in one corner of the holding cell. A few of the givers had approached him, but he had snarled. Once Ninya had bitten one, they had left him alone. He was too afraid to sleep, unsure if he'd be waking up in once piece. He wished morning would come faster.
