The phrase sturuck stupid never hit home quite so well. Lennox seemed in a transe as he watched the beast prowl about for a moment, that big, furry head raising up to stare at him. He felt an insane urge to laugh but struggled not to and instead tested his eyes and reached out a hand to run over the cat's head.
"Oh my God," he whispered, pulling his hand back. "This is actually freaking real."

Kade transformed back, naked as the day he was born. "Yeah, it is. Now, are you going to kick me out or allow me to continue explaining?"

Kade nodded. "Alright, well, the planet I come from, and many other inhabited planets, there is a belief called mates. It is said that every person as a true mate, kind of like a soul mate they are destined for. When you find this mate, you will immediately know the feeling."

Lennox burst out laughing, why he had no idea, but this whole thing just sounded so off the wall. And yet... he had never felt this way physically nor emotionally over anyone. Lord, he felt so sprund and out of it at the same time. And then he recalled Kade's last words.
"Did you just mention something about bearing sons? I'm a guy, you know."
