Just Like That, But Not Quite [Tatsu/Satori]

Tatsu finished and went to watch the boy cook. Pie? Of course it was going to be too sweet, but he really didn't feel like saying anything to him. He'd eat it anyways.

By the time Satori noted he wasn't alone in the kitchen, he had already made the crusts, and was putting in the filling, preheating the oven first. The moment he was done he set the pie in the oven. "There," He really hoped Tatsu would like it, he supposed he could try for something else, for the moment he went on to cleaning up what he could. Washing the free dishes in the sink, ones that weren't being used.

"Is there anything I can do for you now?" He was standing by the sink when he asked, smiling a bit. It seemed he might have really liked what he was doing. If it weren't for the maid outfit, he might just look like a souse-like figure where he was.

Oh, there were so manything he could do for him. "No, I'm just waiting."

[Kago]

Satori just gave a nod to what he heard. "Oh, alright." He was smiling, suddenly humming as he finished up the dishes. "It'll be awhile before the pie is done," He was turning off the water as he finished, turning to face Tatsu. "Wanna do something to pass the time," He was moving to dry his hands off in a kitchen towel now. "I mean, if you don't have to do something, we can do something together." The last thing he wanted to do was impose.

"Not sure what we can do together though..." He was thinking, trying to come up with something good, something. "I don't suppose I can ride you.." It came out whispered, but clearly audible. Of course it didn't sound right, but he didn't mean it in a way that wasn't innocent. When he was little he use to play around with some older Zercan family members. He really enjoyed riding around on their backs while they were in their cat forms. Tatsu was a human, he couldn't do that, in fact, he realized he probably didn't know anything about him, so he probably shouldn't try changing himself.

Tatsu's eyes went wide. Did he say what he thought he just said. Nah, impossible. "I don't think so. I don't have much around here for time passing other than the television and my computer."

[Kago]

All he had was a television and a computer, that sounded boring. "Well, then do you have time for a game," He suddenly reached out and took Tatsu's hand in his. "Let's do something fun together." He was suddenly pulling him out of the kitchen. "Do you know how to play hide and seek?" A kids game, but he still thought it fun.

"Uh, hide and seek. I played it once in elementary," Tatsu said looking at Satori's hand with his.

[Kago]

"Then you know how to play, lets play it together." He wasn't exactly asking but he wasn't being forceful either. "Do you want to hide first, or do you want me to?" He came to a stop, suddenly facing Tatsu now.

"You can hide," Tatsu said. "What number should I count to?"

[Kago]

"Count to fifteen, I would normally say ten, but I don't know your house that well." He hadn't quite been all over yet. "So, start counting," He moved away from Tatsu now, just waiting for hm to start, so he can run in a direction and not have him see.

Tatsu supposed he could humor the boy and closed his eyes starting to count. "15...14...13..." There weren't many places to hide. He only had the kitchen, the livingroom, him bedroom, and the bathroom, thought each was pretty big in itself.

Satori took off the moment he heard Tatsu count. From there he went straight upstairs, right to Tatsu's bedroom. He had been hoping there was a good place to hide, bu there didn't seem to be many options. In the end he went with hiding under the bed, he was small enough to fit, and with the help of the covers covering the sides a bit, he wouldn't be noticed right away. Now he waited patiently to see what would happen. He wondered where he would look first.

Tatsu finished counting. He'd heard footsteps on his stairs, but decided to check the living though he knew the boy was either in his bedroom or the bathroom.

So far so good, Satori didn't immediately see Tatsu. He didn't hear him coming up the stairs either, maybe he didn't know he came up here.

Tatsu next made his way up to his room and completely passed his bed heading for the bathroom instead. He checked the large shower and towel closet before going to the closet in his room. "Hmm, I wonder where he went."
