Xander nodded, "Oh ok," he told him softly then stood and collected the dishes. Once he was done he started to wash them by hand.

"Oops, no, no Xan." Odin immediately said, getting up when the boy started to hand wash stuff. "Just put them in here, see?" He said, pressing a button in the wall were a hole opened up. "Just drop 'em in and the A.I. will wash them."
As he went over this, the crew members started to disperse, Zeta already giggling and fondly Styx as they disappeared around the corner.

Odin frowned at the "we" part. He'd forgotten that he was saddled with the green stowaway until they got to port. With a heavy sigh, he motioned for Xander to follow him back to the deck. "I usually just read." He explained. "Or nap when there's nothing to do. You don't have to do that of course."

Xander smiled and followed him. "Can I read to you?" he asked softly. "I'll read anything you want..."

"Yeah, sure." Odin replied, ruffling his hand through Xander's hair in what was quickly becoming habit. "There's books on the shelf there." He motioned tiredly with his hand before flopping down in the pilot's chair. There were also other chairs about the deck so Xander wouldn't have to sit on the floor.

Xander smiled happy then skipped to the shelf, once he found a book then skipped back to him. He made sure he got the closet chair to him then started to read.

Odin smiled, eyes riveting over the fae's petite form as that sweet voice washed over him. Steadily, the Zercan was lulled and his eyelids began to droop as he dropped off into a real sleep.

Xander looked over to him and smiled. He looked to the A.I., "Um how can I get him to his bed without waking him?"

Luci appeared onscreen with a curious blink. "Good gods. He's asleep!" Luci whispered in surprise. "I don't think I've ever seen him sleep...before." The computer cocked his head, eying Xander with new interest. "Just leave him. You can go back to his room though. You remembrance where it is...right?"

Xander looked to Odin worried and frowned. He looked back to Luci, "But he might hurt his neck sleeping like that..." He watched Luci curious, "He doesn't sleep?" he asked the worry evident on his face.

"I think he's pretty comfortable." Luci whispered back. "And no. He barely does. That's why he has the lights out for a few hours. Silence. You know?" He said. "No hurry back to the bedroom. I'll meet you there." At that, he clicked off.

Xander watched him click off then shyly kissed Odin's forehead before quickly running to the bedroom.

Odin continued to snore softly, long after Xander had left.
"I have to say kid. You have the magic touch." Luci complimented when Xander entered the bedroom. "What kind of book did you read him?"

"Just a fairytale," he admitted softly then curled under the covers. "About mates. I wish I had one..."
