Amria watched him pull back and felt the loss of contact as a sharp sting. He moved forward then kissed him again shaking his head at his words, "We'll hide it then...you feel that connection don't you?"

Iori did indeed feel it, and he looked at Amria. "Yes," he said softly, "but, what exactly are we hiding?" Iori asked, even as he held the male close to him.

Amria smiled weakly, "Your my mate," he whispered then looked to his hand to join there hands. "Its supposed to be a good thing, but here I fear it might be a bad thing..."

"Mate?" Iori asked, confused. He wasn't sure what exactly a mate was.

Amria smiled again, he had thought Iori would not know what it was. "Well its the person you are destined to be with," he admitted. "You other half. Your my giver, which is why you feel protective of me. And I'm your bearer..."

"I can." Iori said, blinking at the beauty. He wanted the male, but...no. There were no buts. He wanted Amria for his own. Yet, he didn't want to put the beauty in danger.

Iori looked at the sad look on the male's face amd turned him to face him. He kissed the male slowly, looking at him. "It will be alright." he said softly.
