Don't Be Stubborn, My Sweet [Dianthe/Makani]

Makani felt the shock but just pulled back quickly. "Yes please," he told him softly. "I am a bit tired..."

Dianthe led Makani up a flight of stairs and down the hall that was Dianthe's domain. "This room is mine, " he said to a big doube door then pointed to a single one beside it. "This one is yours. There's a connecting door inside if you need anything."

Makani was confused as to why there doors connected, but did not protest. "Thank you," he told him softly. "Night." He smiled then slipped into his room.

Dianthe watched as Makani walked into his room and his eyes suddenly became slitted. He had regonized that shock that had run through him and was quite glad he'd helped the horned man. The connecting room was meant for his mate, well, it seemed right anyway. Dianthe went into his own room.

Makani woke up early the next day a bit stiff. He sighed and decided to take a warm bath before setting out for his home. He knew with his cut he could not shift to his dragon form, he would have to wait till it healed. He also knew because of that he would have to walk home instead of fly. He growled angry then slipped into the bath once it was ready.

Dianthe woke up and was studying from his many books until Makani had come to join him as he'd sent a servant to tell the horned person that Dianthe wanted to talk to him.

Makani walked into the room his kimono wrapped around him and his hair in a ponytail. "You wanted to talk to me?" he asked curious.

"Yes, I have an offer for you," Dianthe said standing up and shutting his books. "It seems someone is after you, or am I wrong? If you need protection, I have a proposition for you."

Makani looked to him curious, "He attacked me in dragon form I doubt that he would come back," he told him softly. "But what is this proposition? This isn't the first time I've been attacked."

"I can protect you by giving you my family's name. I'd like to pursue you, Makani," Dianthe said taking a few steps closer to the horned dragon."

Makani blinked confused then stepped away from him. "Pursue me?" he asked confused.

[phantasmalunar]

Dianthe stepped closer. "Yes. It has come to my attention that I am quite lonely here and you have sparked my interest. Since you said you're continuously attacked, I can give you protection with my name. You do not have to say yes right now, that is why I said I would like to pursue you first."

Makani was still confused, and he felt weird with Dianthe so close. "I...I suppose I could stay here for a little while," he admitted softly. "But how have I sparked your interest?"

Dianthe was a bit frustrated. So instead of explain it further, he took action. "You've sparked my interest like this." With a skillful hand, he cupped the horned dragonis' shin and leaned down to place a kiss on his lips.

Makani blushed deep then pushed him off, "Don't," he whispered. "I'm sorry I don't think I should stay here." He liked being alone and did not want to be with another, not yet.
