Drik'a sighed as he walked through the streets of Zerca alone, he turned the usual head as he passed, his entourage not with him today. No...Orai and Isis were off with their mates, doing mately things. Not that he wasn't happy for them, that wasn't it. It was just--he hated to be alone.
So today he decided to pick up some new costumes from his Aunt Stella, the best seamstress on possibly all of Zerca. He had a really big show tonight, and was looking forwards to it.
Walking with his parcels as he sang lightly to himself, he couldn't help but be attracted to the new music store which sign read "NOW OPEN." Drik'a couldn't help his natural curiousity, so, blinking almond shaped blue and brown eyes, he headed over.

Alec looked up when the door opened, but he didn't move. He was in a dark corner, playing his guitar as he learned a new song. His uncle, Zack, and his other uncle, Ricca, Zack's mate, were already at the counter eager to great the new customer. "Welcome to our shop," Ricca announced with a sweet smile. "Anything we can interest you in?" he asked curious. Alec watched the boy, he was hot, something he wanted now, "I got him," he told Ricca and put his guitar down quickly.
He smirked as he made his way to Drik'a, checking him out boldly. "Hello cutie," he purred red eyes gleaming as he invaded Drik'a's personal space and pushed his hair gently out of his face. "Are you looking for anything special?" He wanted to have this boy, he was hot, a welcome distraction from his work, and he just wanted to know everything about him.

Drik'a was so tempted to flip this dude. His beautiful face twisted into a pretty scowl."I would appreciate you not touching me. That is what I'm looking for." he said, stepping away from the rude daemon before smiling at the male behind the counter. "No, not really, I am only looking." he said, before turning away from the daemon. What an arrogant son of a--
Drik'a shook his head before walking down the rows, eyes scanning the inventory, smiling as he saw a few of his dance tracks.

Alec didn't even care what he said, he wanted so he would get. He followed him but kept his distance watched his reactions. He liked that pretty smile, hoping he would get that response some day soon. He was about to go back up to him when Zack came up and pulled him away with a sharp reprimand. He growled but went back into his corner, eyes flicking over to the pretty male every so often.
He soon was humming and playing a song he learned from Earth. It was Love Drunk by Boys Like Girls, he just wanted to play something fast that would attract the pretty males attention.

Drik'a's head turned as he heard the music. It was a guitar! He loved guitars, and wished he could play one himself. But alas, he didn't know how. Sadface.
Drik'a picked up on the song the daemon was playing and decided to sing along. His beautiful voice (though not as good as his cousin's) ringing out in the nearly empty shop as he sang quietly.
"I used to be love drunk, but now I'm hungover I love you forever, forever is over We used to kiss all night, now it's just a bar fight So don't call me crying, say hello then goodbye," he smiled at the daemon playing before turning, heading on his way.
"You're a jerk, but you play well. You should find Darren Kirle, he's very good at guitar--has a whole collection of them from Earth." he said over his shoulder. He was nearly late for work and couldn't stay longer. "Good day! I'll visit again." he said before leaving.

Alec was happy that the other paid attention to him, he loved it. He was shocked when he started singing, he had such a beautiful voice, he wanted to hear more. He was also surprised he knew the song, it was an Earth song. He shrugged when he was called a jerk, he didn't care, he just wanted this boy's attention. "Wait!" he called running after him. "Where are you going?" he asked watching him. "Can I go with you?"

Drik'a blinked, looking back at the male, though he didn't stop walking. "No." he said, matter of factly as he continued walking towards his job, hopefully, Ria wouldn't be too pissed at him.

Alec sighed and kept up with him not wanting to let him out of his sight. "Well when can I see you again?" he pressed. "I bet you would love a private tour of the music shop."

Drik'a sighed. Here was another creepy amirer/stalker to add to the list. "No, I'll be fine on my own, and I don't know. At this rate never. Now if you excuse me I am late for work." the shifter mix-breed said, looking at the daemon before heading for his club. He groaned inwardly, Ria was outside tapping his little foot. "DRIK'A! You are late, buddy!" the tiny male frowned.
"I know I know," he said, shaking his head. "But I'm not on for another hour and a half." he tried to reason. "And I'm your headliner, you can't fire me." he said knowingly and sweetly, flicking the male's nose. Ria growled, but fell to his charms. "Whatever, just go get changed." he grumped, before looking at Alec.
"And what are you hangin around for? Customer's entrance's around the block."

Alec smiled sweetly, "Thank you, sorry, I was just following um Drik'a," he told him then hurried around the club, he had to see the pretty male in action. He was just happy now he knew his name, and at this rate he could just wait for him to be done and try to talk to him. He had to make the pretty male see his way, for some reason he felt like the male was his and he should not let him go.

Drik'a sighed as he was hurried into make up and hair. The stylists buzzed about him, giggling as they intricately, braided, pinned and sprayed his pretty white hair. The stylists added dark liners and shadows to his eyes, to make them pop, and lip color.
Then it was time to get dressed. The costume Drik'a wore was similar to a Japanese fighting kimono, save for the fact that the sleeves were much too long and the body of the suit hugged his body tightly. A type of hard armor like material over it.
It was another weird costume, but Drik'a could deal. He liked dancing in stuff like this most days. It wouldn't be a problem.

Alec sat in the middle where he could see Drik'a and he hoped Drik'a would be able to see him. He couldn't wait to see him again, and maybe hear his voice again. He didn't even pay attention to the other dancers, he was here just for Drik'a his pretty male.

Drik'a sighed as he stretched and warmed up. These shows were unlike anything else on Zerca, and they drew huge crowds. Each night, there was a story, or a theme--it was like a moving opera, you could say. A few singers sang, while the dancers acted out the story, but--the catch was that there were no set dances, and that everything the audience saw was improvised--though it NEVER ever, looked that way.
The singers would be in a balcony on either side of the club and Drik'a and the other dancers would come out of the floor or from the ceiling or from behind a wall. The two lead dancers, he and another handsome male namde Haku, had mikes so they could either sing or say lines. The dances incorperated dancing from everywhere in the universe, and music as well. The crowd never had a dull moment with the pounding rythms, which made the Zuka Club the most exclusive and most popular club on Zerca.
There were four shows a night, sometimes different, sometimes the same depending on the crowd. Tonight's story would be about two warriors from separate planets--Zerca and Jeskara--whose paths cross and they are forced to recognize their matebond. Drik'a was the warrior from Zerca, even though he was sure his costume was wrong, and Haku was the warrior from Jeskara, dressed in nothing but glork-skin pants and painted with markings that Drik'a actually had to personally make sure were done right. It actually should have been the other way around, seeing as Drik'a actually *did* have Majikadai markings--real ones--and that he had their blood and actually knew the way of the Majikadai. But what could you do?
But anyway, the show was starting, and the singers had begun to sing, Drik'a being the first onstage. The music was a synchopated, funky beat, and the backup dancers were thrusting prop spears at him and shouting. Drik'a moved his body gracefully and in time with the beat, making for a very cool effect--like he were fighting in slow motion. He was dodging spears, moving away from bodies, spinning out of reach from the dancer's hands, until it was his que to be overtaken. The dancers picked him up, carrying him off.
Drik'a laughed at how similar this was to the story of the way his grandparents met.

Alec watched in awe his eyes wide and his mouth partly open. He found it hard to take his eyes off of Drik'a as he took in the story. He did not like how the crowd was also staring at him and how those men got to touch him when he didn't. He wished to take Drik'a from this place, out of reach of these people. His body called for him to claim him, and he was confused, but he didn't want to hurt the pretty male. He feared that he would hurt him just like his giver had hurt his bearer. So he got up quickly, nearly tipping the table and chair in the process, running from these feelings and from Drik'a.
He berated himself for stalking him earlier, he couldn't believe that he did so. He would have to distance himself from this male, he refused to harm him. He walked back into the shop his uncles looking to him worried. "I will stay here for another two weeks to help you open, then I must leave," he informed him. "My people need me." Within that time if the pretty male came in he would be sure to create a distraction for himself that would take him away, he refused to become the monster his father was and take him.

Drik'a finished the first show, grinning at the applause. That was one of his favorite stories to date.
"Hey, Drik, I think some daemon was out there looking at you." Haku said, mopping at his neck with a towel. "Black hair, red eyes, all scowly like."
"And?" Drik'a shrugged, knowing exactly who he was talking about. "I don't see why I should care."
"He was just hot, is all." Haku shrugged, before going about his work. Drik'a rolled his eyes, although some small part of him had to agree.
