"River...?" Was all Faolan managed curiously before he gave a little gasp when he was picked up and transported at super speed to wherever the vampire lived. The teen's mind was a whirl with bright colors from such quickness and it took him a moment to get his bearings.
"Wait a minute!" Faolan cried from where he sat. "I thought you meant you'd take me to a hospital you bastard, not your hotel room!" He didn't move from where he had been placed, not sure if his legs would hold him anyhow. Faolan had heard scary stories about people picking up others off the street and using them for nefarious deeds. Well, the teen would be damned if he let this River fellow do any such thing!

River returned with his medical kit and a shirt on, his long pale hair tied in a ponytail behind his head. "Stay still," he said as he kneeled next to the boy, opening the kit. "It's going to hurt if you don't stay still." he warned as he gently lifted the boy's shirt, frowning at the wound. He searched around until he found that nasty smelling salve. He placed the rosy crap on the brusie around Faolan's ribs before begginning to wrap the wound tightly but gently.
"Is there anywhere else that hurts?" he asked, fixing dark eyes on Faolan's blue ones as he finished tying off the tie.

Faolan found himself frowning when River came back clothed but any thoughts like that were soon out of his head when the male was tugging his own shirt off. "Oi!" The teen cried, squirming, only to hiss at the stinging. He listened to River's words after that and remained still. He only winced when the nasty salve and bandages went on.
Those dark eyes staring at him now made him flush in embarrassment. "No, nothing else." Faolan muttered, looking away. "I can leave now, right?" He asked, even though it was beginning to rain rather hard now.

River gazed at Faolan. "I would not suggest it. The bandages getting wet would not be desirable...but...if you truley wish to leave I suppose you can. Can you walk?" he asked. "No...I'll call you a transport. " he said finally, standing and going off in search of his AI.

Faolan groaned at the male's reply, watching walk off. The teen gently eased himself to the couch, lay on his face down. Where would he go? There was only the only crumbly apartment on the other side of time. It was cold here and oh so warm in River's hotel room. Would it be so horrible to stay?
Gulping and steeling himself to ask, Faolan finally spoke. "Would it be too much trouble if I stayed...just for the night?" He asked the male.

River blinked, looking over his shoulder at the male, a bit of surprise in his face. "Sure...would you like to sleep on the couch or would you prefer the guestroom? Perhaps some dinner?" he asked the teen (?).

Faolan scowled at the surprised face of River. "I can just stay on the couch." The teen grumbled. "It's no big deal. And you don't have to look so surprised!" He added in indignation. "Did you think I wouldn't ask?"

"Honestly, no. But I'm glad you did. Make's me feel better anyway," River admitted, pushing a lock of hair from his face.
"You may sleep in the guestroom, it has a bathroom off to the side as well. " River said, shaking his head. "Also, you never answered my question. Are you hungry?" he asked.

Faolan flushed in agitation when he caught himself watching River pushing that blond lock of hair away. He felt drawn to the big idiot and didn't know why. The teen brushed the feelings aside though as he tentatively sat up. "I guess a guestroom is...okay." He slowly admitted. "And no. I'm not hungry." This comment was ruined by Faolan's stomach growling suddenly and the boy just huffed, looking surly.

River chuckled again before heading to the kitchen. "You're lucky I don't take so much to my vampire side. " He said as he looked into the refridgerator, pulling out some meats, chese and a bit of warm butter bread from the warmer.
"I don't suppose you mind meat?" he asked.

Faolan eased himself up and padded after River, peering around the male with round eyes. He'd never seen so much food before! At least anywhere outside of a restaurant. "I'm half Zercan." The teen readily supplied. "Of course I don't mind meat. And if you're part vampire, what's your other part?"

"Daemon and Fire Dragonis from what I have heard." River said, as he cut a few pieces of meat into strips and placed them on his flat gril to cook.
"Well, medium, or rare?" he asked as he added various spices and sauce to the meats.

"Rare." Faolan said, distracted by River's explanations to be polite. "That's kind of weird." He said, but not unkindly. "I mean, I thought the dragons hated the leeches and vagrants." Not that he thought of River in such away. It just seemed to be the general stereotype.

"From what I was told, my bearer was a bit of a free spirit." River said, taking a few of the rarer pieces of meat and placing them on a plate with some of the cheeses and bread. "He didn't mind who he slept with, and dumped his children wherever he could leave them." he said, before clamming up on the issue, he didn't even know why he was telling the male all this.

"Hmm." Faolan hummed in a noncommittal noise. He took the plate without asking and pulled up a seat at the table. He didn't feel too terrible for River, but knew what it was like to be abandoned by your bearer. For some reason, he felt the need to share too, if only to make the male not embarrassed for sharing.
"My ma was a fae, got knocked up by a Zercan who went and got himself killed before I was born. I guess my mother wasn't interested in raising a kid so I was left here." Faolan shrugged. "I supposed you and I aren't too different."
