Wandering Souls [Paradise/Calim]

Paradise heared the little male, and dipped closer to the trees, angling down here and there, leaning this way and that--not jarringly, just slowly before taking to the higher skies again with a flap of wings.

They flew over a village and the people all piled out to point at the Dragonis flying above them.

Calim looked down in awe. seeing how low Paradise had gone. There was a village they passed over, and people down below. What could they be thinking now, he was curious to know, but focused his gaze on where they were going.

It had him wondering, how long would they take to get wherever they were going.

The pair flew for quite some time, until Paradise smelled water. He began to angle his body downwards until he simply shifted in midair, somersaulting and catching Calim. They fell through the air before Paradise nimbly caught them on the thick tree branches, leaping through them until they arrived at a waterfall. "There's the water for your bath, boy. We may as well stop to eat as well." he said, placing Calim down.

Calim was awfully close to screaming when he saw Paradise had been shifted in midair. He however was caught, and only found himself closing his eyes, until he felt they stopped moving. That was when he opened his eyes, hearing what Paradise said. It seemed they had come up to the waterfall. "Oh, right I'll go do that," This was better then nothing, he moved up to the water, stopping by the side. "Don't look alright." He was removing his clothes, not sparing a glance at the Dragonis, to see if he was looking or not. The moment he had them all off, he placed his clothes on his bag, then moved forward into the water.

It wasn't warm, Calim had a feeling the water wouldn't exactly be pleasant, but he rather bathe in this, then just end up smelling rather awful. He took the time to completely dive under for a moment, before resurfacing, letting his hair fall back against his back, with a single motion of his head going back. He took a moment to brush back any remaining strands, wiping the water from his face. He wondered if he had time to swim about for a bit, just a bit, maybe he would get closer to the waterfall.

The thought encouraged Calim to move closer, briefly backing up into the shallows, just to stand for a bit, taking a brief moment to stretch. His skin looked to be glistening in the light, with the wet looked he had. That didn't last got too long though, he was soon slipping back into the water, moving towards the waterfall. He really hoped Paradise had gone off somewhere, he didn't want him looking at him without anything on. Not that he thought so highly of himself, like there was something that others wanted to look at, it was just in general.

Paradise was indeed looking. In fact, he was enraptured by the boy's utter beauty. It was plain uncanny for the male to be so gorgeous.

As Calim drew nearer to the shallows, Paradise headed off to find some food. He caught a small deer-like animal (not Jshiko), skinned it and cut strips of its flesh to cook. He found some more wild vegetation for Calim as well, adding it to his stock. Paradise set about cooking the meal as Calim bathed further off behind him.

Once everything was on the fire (Paradise had gone for grilling the vegetation this time), he stood, pulling off his own boots and pants before slipping silently into the water to wash the day's dirt and blood from the kill off of him.

Calim couldn't stay forever in the water, he was thinking to get out, when he noted someone else had come into the water. Not that he heard him, no he hadn't heard a thing, it was when he was moving to get out, getting back into the shallow water and standing there, did he spot Paradise a ways off. He wasn't thinking to say anything, in face ht turned his back to him, he didn't need him catching sight of his front side, anymore then he already did.

Fortunately, one of the things Calim packed was a towel, he just moved to squeeze the water out of his hair. A faint sigh escaped slightly parted lips, while he finally reached inside his bag to take out a towel. It was that or he let himself dry off naturally, he didn't think there was time for that, so he took the towel he had and dried himself off a bit, before taking out a new change of clothes to wear instead.

For the time being, he let his towel rest on the outside of his bag, so it could dry off. He didn't immediately put anything on though, he stood there for a bit with the clothes in his hand. The sun actually felt quite nice on his bear skin, at least for the time being, and he couldn't help but look towards the water, to see what Paradise was doing.

Paradise just washed slowly, getting himself and his long hair clean. His tan body looked almost pale in the moonlight as he wrung out the long tresses. Red eyes flicked to Calim before they returned to checking out the waterfall. It wasn't that high--45 feet at most. Perfect jump height.

Suddenly a grin sprung on his face and he jumped out of the water, moving up the waterfall. "Come, boy. Try something new." he said to the male as he climbed.

Calim raised a brow when he heard himself being spoken to. He almost felt as if he had been caught, well he had been staring at the Dragonis here. It seemed that wasn't what he was being called for though. "Trying something new?" He questioned, putting he clothes he had in hand. He had just dried off to, was he going to have to get wet again? That's when Calim noted what Paradise was doing. What was he thinking? Climbing up there like that.

"Do you really expect me to follow you." He actually muttered that, somewhat reluctantly moving along to follow behind Paradise. He hoped he wouldn't regret this.

"Come." Paradise said as he swung himself up. He held out a hand as Calim finally made his way up to the top.

"We are going to jump." he said with a smirk.

Calim wondered if Paradise was serious, then realized he was. "Are you crazy?" He had to ask, not that he was afraid, but no adult he ever knew would ever do something like this, something this dangerous. Something he was a little hesitant to just go and do, but he really felt he wanted to try it at least once.

"Alright, but I firmly believe you musn't be completely sane."He would jump, when Paradise jumped.

"Oh please, this is a child's jump. Take my hand." he said standing and offering his hand to Calim.

Calim did blush a bit at the comment, it might have been a child's jump to him, but with him never doing something like this, how was he suppose to think otherwise. Wait a minute. If this was a child's jump, did this mean he jumped bigger ones. "Alright," He said that, pouting just a bit again, taking the others hand.

"Come. On three." Paradise said, walking the boy to the edge, "Three!" he said suddenly, jumping and taking the other with him. The two went free falling until they hit the cool, deep water with a splash.

Alright, he was prepared, he was hyping himself up, to go on three. He was waiting got Paradise to count to three, there was no way he way he was expecting what he did. "Ah!" He sort of cried out in surprise, before they hit the water. Of course he went under for a moment, but went right back up to the surface, breathing in the air.

"I'm alive!" It was rather amusing, how he really sounded so relieved, even if the jump wasn't much of one at all. "That's not how you count to three!" He suddenly burst out saying that, recalling what happened when they jumped. He was more so talking out loud, speaking his thoughts, but he was speaking to Paradise, if he could hear.

Paradise laughed, floating on his back. "You needed a little fun, always so dull." he said, looking at Jshiko and the massive waterfall high above them. "A fifty foot drop is the way to do it." he smirked.
