Calim made it to the forest, finally, with his pack over his shoulder. He was going to head straight to Paradise, however he found himself pausing.
"Pet?" Who was this? Why did they have to come and bother him now? Hold on a minute, what was this about dieing?! "There's no way I'm going to die tonight." Calim wasn't a fool, this was a threat he imagined this...demon, meant to keep. "And what did I do to you anyways? I don't even know you." He couldn't begin to imagine he had done some wrong, though he could cause a bit of trouble at times, he wouldn't mess with something like this. Well, he might, but he didn't recall him deserving this.

"You look especcccccccially delicccccious tonight, beauty. I look forward to sssssssinking my fangsssss into you!" Hallaal grinned before he launched himself at Calim with the intent to kill.

He looked delicious?! This thing was crazy? There was no talking to this thing. "Crap." The moment he saw the other come at him, he did the only thing he could think of, he tossed his rather large bag at the demon, hoping to have it collide with him, before taking off into a run. There was no way he could fight, maybe he could change, or if he could just get to Paradise, he was heading in his direction now, he just had to make it to him.

Paradise sat up as he felt--felt--Calim's panic. He lept from his rock as he heard the two approach. Drawing Nehima, Paradise stalked off towards his Jshiko, catching him as he ran. "Get behind me, now." he said to Calim as Hallaal came flying towards him.
Paradise whirlled, skewering the daemon on his sword. Hallaal still lashed at him "The boy issss mine!" the thing growled. Paradise rewarded him with a growl of his own. "That's where you cross the line." Paradise pushed the thing back, drawing out his sword and decapitating the demon.

Paradise, Calim saw him, and he had protected him from that daemon. Although, having a front seat to a decapitation wasn't a pleasant sight, he could honestly care less what happened to the thing. "I think that thing wanted to eat me." The thought caused a shiver to go down his spine, that was the closest he had been to actually meeting his end, he really thought he was a goner for a moment.
"Thanks," The guy did save his life, that didn't mean he was going to do anything to pay him back. Wait, rephrase that, he wouldn't do just anything, but he supposed he did owe him. "I didn't even do anything to the guy," He muttered that suddenly glaring at the decapitated body, he was clearly not bothered by it, more like just annoyed. Though this was technically the first time he had been up close to a dead body, it wasn't something that freaked him out either.
"Oh!" Calim realized he needed to run back and get his bag, "I tossed m bag at the stupid thing, I have to get it." He was, talking to himself more then anyone else. "Eh..." He found himself looking up at Paradise for a moment, "I guess I owe you, but don't expect me to become your servant now." In case he thought to hold it over his head.
Actually, as calm as Calim, seemed, unruffled by the situation, it was sort of a front, feeling his heart was practically trying to jump out of his chest, just at the rate it was beating. Well, hey that was scary situation, who could blame him, he just refused to show it had bothered him, even if it might seem only natural to be.

"Boy, you have some things to learn about this world if you think that just because you didn't do anything to them, that predators won't attack you. " Paradise grunted as he flicked the snake demon's blood off of his sword and sheathed it.
He looked back at Calim, "Go and get your bags, I will wait--call for me if you are pursued again." Paradise said before going back to his rock and looking at the sky, two nights now.

Calim frowned at what Paradise said, he wasn't so naive, he figured anyone could attack anyone at anytime, but it wasn't like he had done anything in the first place. Maybe, he knew less then he thought. "I'll be back," He ran off then, going to retrieve his bag. Fortunately it was in the place he had tossed it, not that it had done much good. He sighed, taking it up, glad it didn't spill out, before he headed back to where Paradise was.
He must have have been lucky, he didn't come across anything. "I'm back," He said that, still frowning a bit, he was ready to go. What happened, was probably something he should expect, wanting danger and all, he just would have liked to fight himself. Maybe he could try, the next time he was in danger, he just needed to think of a good animal.

Paradise looked down to Calim before leaping from his rock a final time. "Come," he said, as he shed his shirt. Huge, dark dragon wings expolded from his back and he looked at the Jshiko. "You may shift or I may carry you. Either way, we will reach my cave before midnight." he said to the male, his voice deeper than before (if possible) and leaving no roon for argument.

Calim considered his options, he didn't exactly like either, well the latter sounded better, at least if he changed his mind, he could leave. But in order to do that, he had to remove his clothing, he was reluctant to but he supposed he had no choice if he wanted to do that. "I prefer to shift, so don't look..." He referred to removing his clothes to do so. He wasted no time stripping down and stuffing his clothes in his bag. That momentarily left him him without clothing, before he quickly shifted forms, turning into a rather large bird, before taking a hold of the bag he brought, intending to fly with it about his neck. He only waited for Paradise to take off before he followed.

Paradise only grunted before flapping his massive wings only once, propelling him high into the air. "Keep up, boy, you're going to need all your strength." he said, waiting for Calim to launch himself upwards.

All his strength? Was it that far? Well, either way, Calim took to the air, moving to follow after Paradise. Setting himself to go at a pace he could keep up, whenever he started forward.

Paradise flapped again three times and already he was nearly a mile ahead. He took to gliding, not looking back to see if Calim was following.

Wha- Why was that guy going so fast?! Was he doing that on purpose? Calim could only go so fast, he had to flap his wings more, gliding along, then flapping his wings more. Just trying to go as fast as he could, at this rate he would be completely tapped out when they reached this cave place.

Paradise simply kept gliding along the way, knowing these airs by heart. He looked back to Calim sighing as he slowed a bit against the wind. "Come on, boy. You will have to keep up with me." He said over the wind.

This guys was a jerk! How could he expect him to keep up with him if he was going so fast. Oh, if he could speak words he would have said a few his parents wouldn't be happy with, instead he just squawked out something, pushing himself to go faster, continuously flapping his wings to keep up, he was barely managing it so far.
