"Fuck Taz." Eamon ground out angrily. "I shall not see someone treated like some...some animal." It grated against the halfling to see Rufi in such a state. He was going to fix this if he had to rip the boy out of Taz's cold, dead fingers. "Do not be frightened." Eamon added, reaching for the boy and crooking his finger beneath Rufi chin to make the boy look at him. That, and he wanted to see the extent of the damage to the male's pale skin.
"You shall sit here and wait with me until Taz comes home. I will not let him harm you." Eamon said seriously, hard eyes giving no room for argument.

Rafi looked to him in shock and surprise at his words. He felt wonderful when he realized Eamon wanted to protect him, that someone care for him meant the world to him. He smiled shy when he felt his chin lifted up, "Its not as bad as it looks, and I'm sure if I ever got in a medi-box it would heal me." He looked to him liking the feel of his hands on him. He wondered if this could be his mate, he knew he would have to touch his hand to be sure. "Why do you care so much for me my lord, I mean Eamon."

Eamon didn't answer Rafi right away, simply examining his neck for a moment before giving another heavy sigh and letting the boy go. He didn't return the shy smile, merely gazing steadily at Rufi, expression unchanging.
"It's the principle." The halfling finally replied gruffly. "It's not fair to your or anyone else for that matter to be treated in such a way. No one should have to live crushed beneath the thumb of another." Perhaps he spoke from experience...and perhaps not, however Eamon's words were rather passionate. He meant what he said.

Rafi felt disappointed at his words, hoping maybe he would claim him as his mate. "This is my life, he owns me," he whispered then stood not caring now if he got angry. If he still had to stay with Taz he wanted him to be happy with him for he was scary when he was angry. "I must go." With that he held his head high and went back to his bedroom. He still wished the other had not broken his collar.

Eamon looked rather confused. What had he said? He didn't mean to upset Rafi, honestly, but that was how he felt. No thoughts of mate had entered his mind. He would have to taste Rafi's blood to be sure, but there was no way that was happening and Eamon put his infatuation for the boy off as being his overly active libido acting up again.
There was no way the halfling was letting Rufi get away that easily. So, he followed the boy to his bedroom, knocking heavily on the door. "Open up." He demanded rather imperiously.

Rafi looked to the door with a huff, Eamon couldn't come in here, someone could tell. He moved to the door and opened it slowly. "Quit demanding me around, I'm not your pet," he muttered. He pushed the older male back so he could shut the door and lean against it as they talked in the hallway. He also didn't want Eamon to smell the blood and sex that always filled the room.

Took late, Eamon's nostrils flared and his lips turned up in a silent snarl. "He will die." The halfling growled under his breath when the scent him, not knowing why it was stirring him up so badly. Refocusing, Eamon gazed down at Rufi after having allowed the male to push him back.
"I'm not treating you like a pet." The halfling snapped in agitation. "You walked away when our conversation wasn't over."

Rafi flinched at the snarl, he had not expected that. He assumed he was just acting like that because he was the second in command and wanted his people to treat others well. He glared to him not liking how he was treating him. "I didn't want to talk anymore," he muttered. Suddenly the air changed and he froze, "Hes back," he whispered suddenly frightened he knew Taz was close. "Please go, he can't find you here."

"I am not moving." Eamon answered, crossing his arms over his chest. "I will deal with Taz now." There was no way he was leaving Rufi alone. Especially not after having smelled the boy's room and seeing the fear flash across his face at the scent of Taz. The vampire had gone too far. Hopefully Eamon would have to kill him, but it was no skin off his teeth if he did.

Rafi was scared and annoyed that Eamon would not move. He stiffened when he saw Taz down the hall he noticed his eyes were narrowed on Eamon. "My lord, what are you doing here, in front of MY pet's room?" he questioned softly though he was angry. He pulled Rafi to him and checked his neck and body glad it was only his scent on him.

"To check on him." Eamon lied smoothly. "He was in such a state yesterday that I was concerned for his well being. It would not help you if your pet should die." He added in a biting tone. "I'll say it again Taz. You cannout continue treating him over anyone else like this. You're cruelty goes too far."

Taz growled at him and pulled Rafi closer to him. "I make sure he won't die. He gets food, and when he is too weak I use others. You don't have any right to say how I can treat my property." He glared once more before going into the room with Rafi and shutting the door behind him. Rafi whimpered when he was dragged into the center of the room and placed on Taz's favorite toy. He had him tied up with his arms over his head and supporting his weight with the push of a button he was pulled up so he couldn't touch the ground. "I have to go out again, if I heard you yelled or made any noise I will punish you." He drank a bit from him before stripping him and leaving out a trap door so Eamon could not stop him.

"Damn you Taz." Eamon shouted, slamming his hand against the door rather helplessly. He was at a loss as to what he could do. Aside from facing Taz outright, it seemed nearly impossible to free Rafi. Sighing in frustration. Eamon stomped back down to the kitchen, never knowing that the poor boy was being tortured again.

Rafi was shaking, it was far to cold for him to be strung up like this. He was still weak from the day before and he felt his was going to collapse. He wished Eamon was with him, wish he could free him. After about half an hour he fainted he couldn't keep it up anymore. Though that was when Taz came back and he started to really hurt him, his screams echoing through the halls once more.

That was it! Those screams rattled Eamon's very bones and now that he knew the person behind the voice, he couldn't sit and do nothing anymore. Angrily, he jumped to his feet, leaving his bedroom as he stomped down the hall where he knew Rafi was being held.
"Open this door now before I break it down." Eamon hollered, pounding on the door. He didn't know why, but he felt a kind of attachment to Raji and he wouldn't see the boy hurt!
