Till First Light (Until Tomorrow) [Damel/ Kandii]

Kandii smiled and laughed again, slipping backwards into the tub, water barely sloshing. "C'mon." He urged, tugging on Damel's hand.

Damel slipped into the water, shaking his head. He sighed as the male scooted up in between his legs.

"Why hello." Kandii purred as he snuggled further between Damel's legs, arms resting on Damel's bent knees. "Hey, do you like traveling Damel?" The Incubus murmured, leaning back.

"Me wouldant know. Me only eva travel from Jamaica ta 'ere." he said, looking at the male between his legs.

Kandii paused. "Would you...like to travel?" He asked quietly.

Damel rose an eyebrow. "What are yeh talkin 'bout? Maybe someday. Once me finish me schoolin'," he answered.

Kandii wiggled and turned in Damel's arms to cuddle. "I don't know." He replied, sounding a little tearful. "Damel...do you like me?" He asked.

"If I didant, yeh wouldna be here now, no less in me tub." Damel said truthfully. he didn't tend to surround himself with just anyone.

"Really?" He turned his bright green eyes to Damel. "Well...I love you." He said bravely, sounding a little defiant.

Damel looked at Kandii with slight surprise. They had only known each other for a night and a day, how could someone fall in love with him so fast?!

"Dis ain't gwain be wat cha wanna 'ear from me, but me can't say de same. Me like ye, more den any odda bwoy runnin' round ya, but me no can say is love." he said, looking at the man.

"Us not know each odda for but a day," he reminded.

"I know." Kandii murmured, nuzzling against Damel. "But I'm not taking ti back because it's true." The Incubus was vaguely hurt, but it was okay. He was used to not have his feelings returned. As long as Damel continued to have sex with him, then it would be fine.

"And you don't ever have to love me." Kandii added, kissing at Damel's neck. "Just keep kissing me, okay?"

What Kandii said struck Damel like a bolt of lightening. Damel gently pushed the male back and forced him to look at him. "No." he said softly. "Yeh deserve much more den someting unrequited and empti. Don't eva tell yaurself differant." he said, looking at the male, fixing his hazel gaze on him.

Kandii smiled gently touching Damel face lightly. "And that's why I love you. Because you're so kind." Yet, the Incubus' emerald gaze was pained, a deep hurt lurking in those bright depths. He lived off sex, so everything was unrequited and empty. It wasn't like it was something new.

"Me? Kind?" Damel blinked. "Naw, just raised betta than a lot of bumbo clots runnin' round hea." he could feel the mate's hurt as if it were his own, and thought frantically of what he could do to put a real smile on his face.

"Ow about...yeh go on a date wi' I tamarra?" he asked, looking at Kandii before biting his lip.

Kandii giggled, smiling again. "You don't have to work?" He asked curiously, giving Damel a kiss, bad things seemingly forgotten. "I would love to though." He murmured, cuddling up to the male.
