"That's fine." He said as he walked with the male, feeling his nervousness, which somehow caused his own to melt a bit.
"Where is that confident, teasing, bothersome Zercan I met yesterday?" he asked the male, playfully nudging him in the side. He was not one for awkward silences.

"Ah, he left when he saw how beautiful his date looked." Kaleos answered with a chuckle. "Wait." He said as if just realizing. "You think I'm bothersome?" The question held feigned hurt.

"Perhaps," Shion shrugged with a small smile. "You going to prove me wrong?" he asked, chuckling at the Zercan's expression.

"See?" Shion smirked, "Told ya so." he said, fiddling with the flower. He decided that he liked the sound of Koren's laugh.

"Yeah, yeah." Kaleos teased. "I have a feeling that you're one of those male's who are always right." The Zercan grinned, walking slowly down the path that led to the nice restaraunt. He felt so proud to have his mate walking next to him that he couldn't help but grin.

"Ah see, there he is." Shion nodded, "And you're wrong. I'm only right most of the time." he smiled, his hair falling into his eyes. As they approached the restuarant, Shion looked up at the huge skyrise. It was something of a bit of a wonder to him, seeing as they had nothing like this on Jeskara.

"Wow. Only most of the time, eh?" Kaleos teased, reaching up to brush some of the hair out of Shion's face, even though it looked sexy like that.
The Zercan paused, looking up as well. "You're uh, not afraid of heights are you?"

Shion shot Kaleos a strange look. "I've spent the majority of my life in hundred foot trees, darling." he said, with amusement. "In fact, I was born in one." he added.

Kaleos blinked and then flushed. Whether he went pink from lack or knowledge of the fact that Shion had just called him darling was unclear. "Oh." Was all he said for a moment as he thought. "Wait. You were born in a tree?" He asked slowly, obviously not knowing much about the elusive Majikadai culture.

"Yes, is that odd?" Shion shrugged, not sure why that was strange. Most of his people were born in trees. He did find the male's blush EXTREEMELY cute, though. It was odd to see the imposing male blush, but he liked it.

"N-not at all." Kaleos quickly said. "I just don't know very much of your culture, so I was surprised." He smiled, patting the top of Shion's hand kindly.
"Shall we then?" He offered again in a change of subject, finally leading Shion into the building where they would be eating and intimately the elevator that would take them to the very top.

Shion nodded as they entered the elevator. The Majikadai wasn't too sure about the box that dangled precariously over nothing, and as it began to rise, his grip on the male's arm tightened a bit. The elevator was glass though, and it was a beautiful view of the lighted inner workings of the elegant building.

Kaleos return the squeeze offering reassurance the the world grew smaller beneath them. The elevator doors finally dinged open to a rather magical scene. Tables were strewn across the roof in an elegant, yet seemingly nonspecific way. Paper lanterns glinted warmly above each table, balancing out the twinkling stars above.
The panther had made reservations, and the couple was immediately seated.

Shion's eyes widened as he took in the beautiful scene. It was truely gorgeous.
As they were seated, Shion couldn't help but look up. It seemed as if they were close enough to touch the stars. He looked back at the handsome Panther across from him, wondering how in all the Goddess' worlds he had managed to get so lucky.
"It's gorgeous." he blushed, not sure what else he could say.
