Shion made an amused chuckle and moved to take the dishes out of the carrier. He placed them on the blanket and set about retrieving the glasses.
"Remember the no-getting-smashed rule," Shion warned Kaleos softly. They were at the point in their relationship where it was already hard enough not to jump each other's bones.

"Me? Get smashed?" Kaleos feigned innocence. "I think you're talking about a different cat." Honestly though, that's why the Zercan had brought the wine. Not to make Shion easy or anything, but so that they could cuddle more. Kaleos was always keeping it to kisses and hugs. In his secret of hearts, he wanted to grope his mate. Just a little.

"Uh-huh, that face doesn't work on me Mr." Shion said, gently pinching the big male's cheeks before popping the cork.
Shion wondered if it was still too soon for the two of them to be together. He felt some aprehension--knowing he was a Bearer--but he still wanted to be with the male in the most carnal way. Pushing those thought from his mind, he handed Kaleos his glass of wine, before picking up his own.

Kaleos wrinkled his nose but still smiled, his mind quickly following on Shion's train of thought.
"Cheers then." Kaleos held up the glass he had just been handed. "For, um...today. Cheers for today." He finished with a grin, tinging his glass with his mate's.

"Cheers," Shion said, before taking a small sip of wine. It was good--not drinking too much would be a bit of a problem.
He moved to cross his legs, leaning back against their tree before picking up a strawberry, an earth fruit he had come to be rather fond of.

Kaleos echoed Shion, taking a sip of his own wine. He never drank sour or bad wine, even if he didn't plan on drinking a lot of it.
"What's that?" The panther asked curiously, blinking at the little red fruit in Shion's hand. He'd never seen one before, not having been much for Earthian foods.

Shion held the strawberry to Kaleos' lips. "It's a strawberry--It's sweet. Try it." he said.

Kaleos obediantly bit into the straberry, making sure to catch the tip of his tongue on Shion's fingers. The sweet taste of the fruit and the taste of his mate mingled, making the panther moan in pleasure.
"It's good." He praised, licking his lips.

Shion shivered slightly as Kaleos' rough tongue flicked across his fingers. "Yes, it's my favorite earth fruit. Jikan has loads of it about, like the grape." he said, plucking a little purple, round fruit from a vine and placing it at the male's lips.

Kaleos also took the fruit obediently again. However, he kept his golden gaze on Shion as he drew the grape into his mouth, this time, he made sure to lick his mate's fingers slowly, obviously. Feeling rather brave, the panther clasped Shion's wrist, laying a kiss against the male's smooth palm.
"I never knew Jikan was into...this type of garden." Kaleos finally said, lips teasing lightly at the skin of his mate's hand.

Shion gasped. Who knew his big, loveable cat could be so damn sensuous?
"Well...now you do," he breathed, his own amethyst eyes locking onto Panther's golden ones.

Shion blushed and removed his hand from the Panther's hold. He could still feel that smoldering golden gaze, and it was doing unspeakable things to his body.

Kaleos was pleased by this immensely as he took out two plates from the carrier along with some utensils. He didn't mean to flirt with Shion they way he did, but he just couldn't help himself. Speaking of which, he really wanted to kiss his mate, so he did.
The panther laid a gentle hand against his mate's cheek and kissed him deeply.

Shion had no problem with kissing his mate, and did so--he tasted like wine, and fruit, and Kaleos, and Shion found himself slightly heady.
He moaned a bit in his throat, giving into his mate's kiss.
