"Nope," Shion said, moving to stand closer to the hole. "Lead the way," he smiled, catching the pet name in Kaleos' las sentence.

Kaleos hadn't even realized he had shortened Shion's name to something more endearing. It had just been natural too him.
"Alright then. Careful not to slip." He warned, holding onto Shion's hand tighter even knowing that male wouldn't trip down a flight of stairs in a million years. The panther led his mate down the narrow steps into the damp tunnel. The walls were slick with condensation, as were the stairs, and there was only dim track lighting to lead the way to something beautiful.

Shion shook his head at the male's concern, but followed anyway. He could feel the coolness of the underground, and it reminded him of the spring nights back on Jeskara.

The air was musty too, the dampness giving the air a strange smell. "Okay." Kaleos mumbled to himself. "There should be a guide up here giving out lamps...Oh! There we go." They came upon the Zercan passing out lights to see the cave.
"Here you are." The male said handing both Shion and Kaleos a lamp. "Please do not stray from the designated path." He indicated the marked path to his left. "Have a fun time." He smiled.

Shion gasped as Kaleos took his hand and led them around. Used to darkness, his eyes took in the sights of the flowers, several of them eminating their own bio-luminesence.
"Wow..." he said quietly.

"Cool, huh?" Kaleos whispered. Some of the flowers were huge, coming in a rainbow of colors as they gave off the most delightful fragrances. It was like they had walked into a jungle. Vines clung to the walls, dripping down in curling tendrils and the panther was reminded of his mate's hair.
"Do you like it?" The Zercan asked after a moment, hoping to have pleased Shion.

Shion nodded, with a small smile. "They really are quite beautiful, although I would've expected such a place to exist on Sensaforia." he said, leaning into the Panther's large side.

"Most do." Kaleos replied with a grin, wrapping his arm around Shion's waist again. His mate was so warm and soft against his side, he couldn't help but want to hold him close. "That's why most are so surprised." He added as they continued on their way through the caverns.

Shion nodded, by the time they had made their way back to the front, Shion was exhausted. He was draped over Kaleos' back arms around his large neck.

Kaleos was humming softly beneath his breath, arms hooked beneath Shion's knees to hold him more securely. He was slowly making his way back to Jikan's house, wishing that he could take Shion back to his own home. To his bed.
As he neared Jikan's house, the panther found himself slowing, wanting to make the moment of his mate draped across him last.

Shion was being lulled to sleep by Kaleos' soft humming, without realizing it--the two had spent an entire day together. Shion found himself loving the feel of the big, muscled male against him more than his bed, and he himself didn't want to go home.

Kaleos paused, feet from Jikan's doorway. "Shion." He whispered, voice husky. "I'm going to set you down so I can kiss you." He said. The panther had been wanting to kiss the male for so long and he didn't think he could make it through the rest of the night without only.
Gently, he eased Shion off his back.

SHion slipped off his mate's back, pouting slightly at the loss of heat and contact before wrapping his arms about the big Panther's neck and moving forwards to kiss him.

Kaleos' mouth found Shion's in a passionate kiss. The panther loved his mate so much and had no idea when Shion had become his life. His kiss imparted all of these feelings as he tenderly ran his finger's through silky brown hair.

Shion gasped into the kiss, surprised at the intense passion behind it as he was pulled closer to Kaleos' body.
It seemed like forever until they broke apart, and Shion breathed out a breathy, "Until tomorrow."
